January 11 2007 at 5:42 PM Corrie (Login Corrie73)
I tried to find this product online, but it looks like there are several different types. Can anyone tell me what type they use?

Hey, someone here suggested a product called Hydroplenish a while back. It has hydrolyzed collagen but also has hyaluronic acid. I swear, it may not be helping my boobs, but it might be who knows.
What I have found is that my skin is not dry, and it's winter! I normally put on hand lotion 15 time a day, and I'm using it like once or twice now. I will be taking this stuff for the rest of my life.

Be careful with ingesting too many animal products! It's best to tick with plant-based stuff - much safer for our bodies to accept.

sorry but i think collagen is animal protein so can't really be plant based. anyway i wrote to vitaminworld just to make sure, i will let everyone know if they reply. all the other companies that were selling 100% pure collagen seid it's bovine based.

the ingredients
January 20 2007, 5:46 PM
all of the ingredients say vegetable this or vegetable that... it is probably a man-made compound mimicking animal collagen?
we will find out when they write you back. i hope it is vegetable based for your sake, because i know you are a veggie!! it doesnt matter to me... heck, im taking bovine ovary, so obviously a little more cow doesnt bother me, but i know how important it would be for you and those who follow the veggie diet!

I know there is also one type of collagen derived from chickens. Certainly not veggie, but maybe better than bovine for those who are worried about cow products.

Thank you for contacting Vitamin World through our website. We appreciate your interest in our products.
Our collagen product is not from a bovine source. It is from porcine sources.
so, unfortunately it's not veggie either, will have to keep looking
