Damiana?

I've read that a number of BE products include Damiana but I can't seem to figure out why. I've read that it may be an aphrodisiac but other than that I haven't got a clue as to why it would be included in a BE program. I've been looking through the threads here and I can't find anything. Did I miss something?

Damiana is regarded as a (weak) source of phytoestrogens.

its a weak phytoestrogen like molly said but it is also a strong progesterone blocker. according to earlier NBE beliefs, breasts start growing once girls start their menstral cycle (when progesterone is present and elevated). there have been women who have used it in their routine but it hasnt been as successful as women here who have done very well without it. if you want to try it then fine but keep in mind that you experimenting and they it would cost you alot less to do without it. also i dont think low progesterone helps with BE after puberty, it may infact hinder it. higher progeterone levels does alot more for breast size then low levels. i wouldnt bother with it.
