Soy or No Soy? That is the question!

Hi everyone!
I've read conflicting stuff on the benefits of soy with BE. On that other forum, I think I recall soemone warning against it, while on another website, it said soy was good for boob growth. In a Chinese recipe for BE soup, fresh beancurd sheets (a soy product) is also mentioned as the leading trigger to breast growth. So...what's the deal? Thanks for all your help so far btw, everyone is just so darn nice! Never expected that from people I don't know =)

Yes in Chinese medicine soy is important for breast growth. I found that out just recently myself.

thoeredially its bad. but if a big part of your diet consists of it then i wouldnt drop it. soy has one of the highest estrogenic activity. thats usually not good for BE. the estrogen is very weak compared to (estradiol) which is typically responsisble for breast growth. being so weak it competes with the stronger estrogens and lowers their activity. so overall you lower your estrogen levels. this is why soy seems to protect women agains breast cancer. so sunset is right who knows. phytoestrogens dont act like the estrogens in our bodies so you cant really expect to just take a bunch of phytoestrogens and hope it just raises your estrogen levels. it usually doesnt work like that. plus there are hundreds of thousands of people who eat soy every day and yet there still not a connection between it and breast size. most of the NBE brand product dont have soy as a main (active component) and those that do dont seem to be very special at all. so i doubt that soy would helps with NBE and there is a chance it works against it. so its up to you to decide if the risk is small enough to take.

With soy there just isn't a clear answer it seems, but I've seen soy used as an ingredient in breast enhancement formulations.
