Thank you for the question grace.
It was a good one. I did not stop to ask myself the same question. I have known about the restoritive powers of aloa on burn and cuts. And its ability to moisterize skin. I used to keep a plant or too around for cuts and burns. Now that I am diabetic I may need to keep some onhand. However, I did not stop to think of using it for NBE as a carrier. I do use soloarcaine sunburn gel aloa from time to time after massaging or when I thnk I may have pumped too much.
It seems that aloa vera is extremely good penetrator for the skin. According to the pages I viewed. Listed below. It can penetrate its moisture to seven layers of the skin. Further it is packed full of every amino acid the body needs and other goodness for the skin. Who knew? Oil sits on top of the skin which is one reason to use a penetrator esential oil like eucalyptus essential oil. So after reviewing these pages I am probably going to change my mix to a solarcaine based one. I will have to look around for a aloa based skin product with high amount or aloa.
