Hi there. I've tried the natural herb route and got nowhere so I'm seriously considering surgery. I'm also in the U.K. Just interested in how many consultations you went to before choosing the company you went with. Also, I have a 2 and a 3 year old. Could you let me know how long you think it would take to recover and be able to look after them by myself again after surgery.
Thanks so much for posting on here. It really helps to hear people's stories and I hope you're feeling much better now.

Hi lynne...
I went only for one consultation but had had others so it was more about finding a surgeon who i would like and i was looking only for a female surgeon..after meeting her i was quite happy to go ahead. It was about finding a surgeon who will look at what suits your body type also and not just about how big you want to go apparently their are surgeons who will make you go up to whatever size you want eehhwwww!!!!!
As far as recovery goes you will have to have help for at least a week or so and you will not be able to pick up your chldren for at least 2 weeks...i dont know how different it is for everyone but because i went under the muscle i was told not to do any heavy lifting even a full kettle would be too much. Its just the sleeping at night that i find difficult now and thats because its uncomfortable sleeping on my back (loaded with cushions..lol)
Hope this helps...
take care xx

Thanks Rose. I've just thought of another question! What sort of after care have you been offered. Some companies do a whole 5 years after care and the surgeon that was recommended to me only provides a year. My worry is if I get CC after the year, that would mean paying again to have them dealt with or removed.

well i have been offered 3yrs after care and CC is most likely in the 1st 2yrs so dont take anything less than 3yrs. your chances of CC happening are less if you decide to go under the muscle which was a another reason i decided to go under.
Hope that helps. xx

Thanks Rose. Another question if I may?! What's the make of your implants. Most of the companies can't tell me this so I'm curious. One company told me they use Allergan Inspira Soft Touch Implants and I can't find out if that's what everyone uses. Sorry about all the questions but I really appreciate you responding.
