It happened to me because I was pregnant.....didn't figure out till my period was a week late and I finally did a urine test. But the sore nipples and full breasts should have given me a clue earlier.
Ended up being an ectopic pregnancy. Had surgery on week 8 of the pregnancy. But after the pregnancy was terminated, the fullness and tenderness gradually went away.
