I had to share this with everyone. Last night I tried something different after trying and failing at the same visualization technique I'd tried the night before. I started focusing on my breaths again and eventually started imagining them filling my breasts on the inhale. But I didn't want to imagine them leaving on the exhale, because I didn't want to imagine emptiness in my breasts, so I started imagining blood filling them in place of the breath during the exhale. Then I started thinking "Breath/warmth, blood/pulse." I started feeling warmth inside my breasts, and a gentle pulse!
Also, I found that it works interchangeably. So you can think "Breath/pulse, blood/warmth" if it makes more sense to you to associate breathing with a pulse and blood with warmth.
And when I say I imagined it, I had a visual in my head of one of those pictures of the anatomy of breast tissue (I'll attach a picture). But in the area where they show skin, I imagined it turning blue with my breath, then red with the blood. I also imagined my breasts kind of throbbing. Yeah, some intense mind work was going on.
The pulse was harder to sustain than the warmth, I noticed. So I need to work on that. But I was glad to feel something on my second try. :-) I hope this helps someone.
