Have you heard of Lexyfill and what do you think about it?

#1

Hi,

I came across something called Lexyfill body filler yesterday, which seems to be used for filling buttocks, thighs, and calves (who would want to fill their thighs, though, lol), but I have also read about it being used to increase breast size.
I had never heard of anything like that before, what is your take on this?

Lexyfill marketing does mention breast enhancement among its possible uses, but there isn't any medical documentation or clinical evidence supporting this claim. Moreover, I think this is very similar to Macrolane which got a lot of attention in the past but was eventually withdrawn from use.

Hey, thank you.
I am reading up on Macrolane now, they sound very similar indeed.

I am going to order 180cc of lexyfill.. now I am curious.

I agree that this is basically the return of Macrolane under another name. The main problem with Macrolane was the short-lived nature of the results, with much of the filler being reabsorbed within 12-18 months, therefore requiring the continuing cost of repeat injections.

Thank you. I had never heard of Macrolane before, but you could be right, now that I have read a bit about it.
I will give it a try.
The question is, will massaging and pumping still be effective after getting the filler?

I think you should avoid massaging and pumping after getting the filler. Those activities will both move the gel around and that kind of movement makes hyaluronic acid degrade more quickly. You'd just be increasing the rate at which the filler absorbs into the body.

Lexyfill is a substance used to enhance the size of certain body parts, such as the buttocks, thighs, and occasionally the breasts. While it can achieve the desired effect, there's not a lot of information available about its safety, particularly when it comes to breast augmentation. Potential issues like infection or lumpy results are possible. It's really important to talk with a qualified medical professional before you even think about getting this treatment.

On the massaging subject, gentle massaging is actually recommended with these kind of fillers, as it helps to smooth out the filler and give a more even result. But I agree that any kind of massage recommended in this forum is going to be inappropriate and will likely cause the filler to break up. So gentle massage yes, but the kind of massages typically used in this forum should be avoided, as any force applied to the filled area can potentially cause issues.
