Post-pregnancy breast changes?

#1

Hi everyone! I am considering getting pregnant in the near future, and have been working on NBE (pumping, massage, and supplements) only for a few months. I was wondering if anyone can share their experiences on how their breasts changes before/after pregnancy, and if NBE results were maintained even after breastfeeding?

I just started seeing some results, and don't really want to lose all of my hard work.

Thanks to all!  Heart

Can't speak from experience, however I do know that alot of the time pregnancy/post pregnancy "breast growth" isn't real growth but rather engorgement from extremely heightened prolactin ie the breastfeeding/glandular hormone which fills the breasts with milk, alot of the time this hormone decreases drastically over time once feeding is finished and when this hormone decreases so drastically the engorgement and "growth" shrinks/dissipates in some women hence it's usually said we definitely need some prolactin for NBE(along with estrogen, progesterone, HGH, growth factors etc etc) but not too much(some may need more others less but never overpowering estrogen). Some women keep these "gains" afterwards though even when breastfeeding is finished so it's possible to be beneficial for some. I think if you are doing NBE and plan to be pregnant soonish they may contradict eachother alil bit, as you may very well have great NBE gains but then the plummet of prolactin post breast feeding may shrink them alil, it depends.  Heart

Thank you so much! When you refer to the shrinkages that come with lowering prolactin, will it dissipate the current breast growth you had due to the non-prolactin effects of NBE (pumping, estrogen, etc..) ?

Pregnancy is a very unreliable thing if wanting breast growth as just because one person keeps their size post breastfeeding doesn't mean you will, a huge lot of women don't keep their size once breastfeeding is over thats a common thing. If you did NBE prior to breastfeeding and gained some good amount of cup sizes you could be fine but again you could also shrink down again due to the prolactin levels plummeting and your hormones changing which they do alot around pregnancy and breastfeeding, some women's prolactin levels only lower a little bit post feeding though which is why their size they grew to from pregnancy mostly remains. Honestly if you were planning to get pregnant very soon I would wait to do NBE until after that's all finished and you are sure of where your breasts are at, as you wouldn't want to have progress just to have those results lost post breastfeeding, or like some you may find you keep your size from breastfeeding and not need to do any NBE but that's not the majority.

Hi there!
I totally understand where you're coming from — I've also done NBE (mostly massage, fenugreek, and flaxseed oil) and started seeing results after 4–5 months. When I got pregnant, I was worried I'd lose all the progress, but surprisingly, pregnancy actually amplified the fullness I'd gained.
During breastfeeding, though, my breasts did deflate a bit once I weaned — but not completely. What helped me was continuing gentle massage and staying consistent with omega-rich foods and hydration.
If you're planning to conceive soon, this might actually work in your favor — pregnancy hormones (especially estrogen and prolactin) naturally stimulate breast tissue. You might want to track your hormone levels (like estrogen, progesterone, thyroid, etc.) to ensure everything is in balance for conception and breast development. I used a private women’s hormone profile from Vitalync Diagnosis that gave me great insights.
Everyone’s body responds differently, but from my experience, a healthy pregnancy can really enhance your NBE journey — just be mindful during the postpartum phase. Sending you baby dust and NBE gains! ?

Hi love, the above users post is an elaborate scam, do not click on their highlighted link they have posted. Nothing they are saying is truthful and simply a sneaky way to make you feel akin to them so you click on their link. It is advertisement/spam/scam. Be wary  Heart

Congratulations on your journey! It's quite common for women to notice changes in their breasts throughout pregnancy and after giving birth. These changes often include size increases due to hormones and milk production kicking in. Some people using NBE have actually found that their results stayed the same or even got better during pregnancy.

However, keep in mind that breastfeeding might cause some volume loss later on. Staying consistent with massage and using gentle support techniques after you're done breastfeeding could help you keep more of the progress you've made. Every body is unique, but you're definitely off to a wonderful start!
