So, I was laying in my left side in my bed yesterday night, trying to sleep, when suddenly (we have our best ideas when we are trying to sleep don't we?) I thought: "I always sleep in my left side, and my left breast is larger than my right one, is there some relation?" And this is what I ask you. You girls that have/had asymmetrical breasts ever noticed this before? Or is it just a coincidence?

I don't know if it's a coincidence or not, but I've always wondered about it. I always sleep on my right side-- I have since I was little-- and my right breast is much larger than my left. (Up until I began NBE, the cup size difference was at least 1 and 1/2 cups.)
I am also dominantly right-handed.

I sleep on my right side, mostly, and my left breast is bigger. I doubt there is a correlation. What I do wonder about is whether there is a correlation between dominant hand and which breast is larger.
Oops, I didn't see roseblossom's reply. Your progress has been pretty inspiring, by the way.

I thought about that because I've heard that gravity interferes in fat storage. But I've never heard that dominant sides interfere somehow... Gonna research

I just thought maybe using that arm more would affect breast size. Do you have a large difference between your right and left breasts?

Thank-you, I'm glad to hear it.
It seems more likely that handedness would be responsible, but I really don't know. But this eases my mind somewhat, because I hate sleeping on my left side. (No need to alter my sleeping habits to avoid asymmetry.)

Dominance will definitely affect muscle development, especially if you mainly use one hand for activities that require strength (e.g. lifting items, throwing balls, etc.) Muscle development does not directly affect breast tissue, however...
I think it may be related to environmental signals, genetics, or injury. But how knows? I had melanoma of the right breast as a teenager. I had to have surgery. Part of my right breast was removed, and yet it is still the larger of the two...
