Well, all I can say is that I am a vegan as well.

I LOVE salad when I sit down to a steak or pork chop dinner. Oh, and I like baked potatoes as well.

LOL

I know it's scary Ella. I recommend you to do more research and simply eat less/no meat/dairy/eggs and increase the amount of plant foods during the next 30 days or so, just to try it out. You should notice that you feel much better soon. Smile

Can you order books from the US or do you have a Kindle? If yes I would recommend this one: Detox-Miracle-Sourcebook http://www.amazon.com/Detox-Miracle-Sourcebook-Complete-Regeneration-ebook/dp/B007EFW0YS/ref=tmm_kin_swatch_0?_encoding=UTF8&qid=1438120627&sr=1-1 and also the China study (note the positive comments): http://www.amazon.com/China-Study-Comprehensive-Nutrition-Implications-ebook/dp/B0041D843M/ref=tmm_kin_title_0?_encoding=UTF8&qid=&sr= (Kindle version costs only $7.99 US).

If you don't like to read you can watch this documentary, which is very good in my opinion:

It explains how bad animal products are for the health, for the environment and of course for the animals. Take the time to watch it, it's really good. Smile

I almostly saw the whole documentary yesterday.. Its defenitily worth watching it for a different kind of view on our food-habits. Thanks Peggy!

Hannah, I am proud of you, you are a smart girl. Smile You know, most of the people are unfortunately selfish and ignorant. They simply don't care about the millions of animals being tortured & slaughtered every single day. They also don't care about the environment or about the starving children in Africa which don't have enough food because 50% of the world’s grain harvest and about 90% of the world’s soy harvest are fed to “farm animals” in the meat and dairy industries! All that plant food could be used much more efficiently if it were fed directly to people and there would be more than enough to feed all people on the plant.

Some people don't even care about their own health. The only thing they are interested in is their own taste buds. They don't care if they get cancer, a heart attack or diabetes in the future, they only live today and give a shit what tomorrow could happen. They are too lazy to do more research, they simply don't want to step out of their comfort zone and face the truth.

I am glad that you are not one of these ignorant people. Smile
I did buy the Robert morse detox box also the china study on my kindle months ago. Thanks
Thats great Ella. Smile I like the Detox book very much, it's much easier to read than the China Study.

Thank you GirlSmile thats a real compliment to me. You've said that so well about the ignorant people, not willing to step out of their comfort zone. They are only busy with the economical-social society of today, living for their jobs, But never stand still for a second to think about where everything comes from and wherefore we live, and whats making us possible to live like we do. I also feel sad for the animals, getting overfed and deformed. I would really like it if there was a farm near by where animals had a good life, to buy pure biological meat. And yes I would eat less meat for it! I'm certainly going to find out if there are other options then the way I'm doing it right now.
Here is a very good speech of Dr. T. Colin Campbell: Animal Protein -- Meat and Dairy -- Cause Cancer

Definitely recommended to watch Smile

"Celebrated Cornell University professor T. Colin Campbell Phd, presents the overwhelming evidence showing that animal protein is one of the most potent carcinogens people are exposed to."

Il summarize it for you Hannah. Our countries are the worst when it comes to animal consumption and cancer rates so we are *****d!
No offense for sounding harsh peggy I know this is all to our benefit. But its hard hearing what we've been brought up to eat our whole bloody lives can kill us plain and simple. Im finding it hard I wont lie. BUT I understand, I appreciate this info and I can SEE by the graphs and listening to what he is saying this info is true.
IF I had the support of my husband then this transistion would be a lot easier. Im fighting up uphill battle. Maybe I need to show my daughter the slaughter houses and see if she is scarred like you were and then she will not want to eat so much meat! Hubby has over ridden my authority as a parent by letting our girl eat processed food to the point its all she asks for!
This is soo hard trying to do on my own but I will work at it.
I soo fucking angry I didn't see this shit years ago and maybe id be in a better state of health today.
Sorry rant over.
Im googling thai diet and also rural china diet to see what they consume given they have good statistics and being at the bottom of the charts..
Ok im done. Rant over
