I'll bet it's nice to swim in!!
When I was in Flordia in `77, there was a small pond called, Crystal Lake, just like the Friday The 13th movies. It was at least 15 feet deep, maybe 50 feet across one way and 75 the other way and you could see CLEAR to the bottom like there was just a sheet of glass covering a hole!! The strange thing was, it was fed by this tiny filthy dirty stagnant stream that curled around behind it!! How that water got to be so clear in just a few inches is a BIG mystery!!
The other strange thing, AND a big mystery, was that, there's a hole at the bottom of the pond and some guy swam into it and never came out!! They had skin divers go in to look for him and THEY never came out!! Then they sent in more divers with ropes attached and THEY never came out, either!! Finally, they put an iron grate over the hole to keep anyone from ever going in there again.

I wonder if they've ever tried running a remote controlled robotic camera through there just to see what goes on and, maybe, where those people are.
