Actually you can take them internally IF you get pharmaceutical grade essential oils. They MUST be pure. I use DoTerra and take both internally regularly. They say on the bottle "For aromatic, topical or dietary use. I have not used them breast growth but for other health reasons.

Can lavender or tea tree oil be used while on BO?

Topical dosage of Lavender: 3 drops (108 mg) of lavender. This is for a different use, but it is a reference point.

Lavender oil is dangerous by internal use

Tea tree oil safety data - From this, tea tree oil has been applied for treating a lot of problems. See section: 'applied to the skin'. The topical dosage is 25% to 50% tea tree oil to water or carrier oil.

From one of these three links, it says they don't know of any contraindications with lavender or tea tree oil with other herbs, drugs, etc. For tea tree oil and lavender it says don't use too much to irritate the skin. I don't know if BO has or would have contraindications on its own.

You can always use the search at U.S. National Library of Medicine, it includes encyclopedic entries, and entries on herbs and vitamins. There are entries, but not any encyclopedic entries on Bovine Ovary from searching it.

just saw this. i've been using tea tree essential oil and lavender essential oil (doterra) with borage oil as carrier. been massaging with this for about a month or so    ..and i like it. things happen slowly and with my normal monthly changes in breast size it's kinda hard to know but i've been giving it a try and think things are going well ..part of me wants to say i'm seeing something good but then, i've also upped my intake of a raw plant-based protein powder by 'garden of life'. i've cut out most all dairy and meat  ..i mean after seeing shows like 'forks and knives', 'what the health' and 'food, inc' what's a girl to do. i mix the protein powder with coconut milk, add some organic coconut oil and fish oil and borage oil and collagen hydrolysate and it's helping, too, cuz i have a hard time gaining weight and i can see my breasts responding. i hadn't thought about taking the teatree and lavender essential oils internally although the doterra is supposed to be pharmaceutical grade  ...i wonder if that's a good idea.
Tongue  i've done some stupid things. it worries me that i might try that.

Hi there Solome! Do keep us updated re: lavender and tea tree EO. Another member mentioned that lavender essential oil works for the glutes too in my bigger
butt thread . How many drops of each essential oil are you using? And how do you ensure that the EOs are properly absorbed? Any special technique? I'm paranoid that the oils I'm using are rubbing onto my clothes.

As for taking them internally, lots of conflicting (and worrying) info out there...I'd watch out.

The plant based protein powder you're taking does sound good indeed. I actually don't have a hard time gaining weight but unfortunately it seems to go everywhere except boobies lol
