UK Pueraria Mirifica

#1

Hi there.
Although I've been following this forum for a while, this is the first time I post.
I'm from Brazil and my bottles of PM arrived last week. I bought them from www.pueraria-mirifica.co.uk, but after making a research, I found out that this brand is really suspicious. :/

Does anyone here currently uses it?

i'm not currently using that brand but i've tried it in the past. i bought 4 sprays and 2 lotion from them. what made you think that brand is suspicious? honestly i think most PM brand seem a little suspicious. i didn't get any negative effect from the UK brand. i switched over to St. Herb because more people have tried it and it's worked for them.

I've been using it for about 6 months and I know of at least one person who has been using it for over 3 years. The results are good and I've never heard or read of a single complaint about this brand. I don't know where you've got that piece of information from.

I agree..most PM brands seem suspicious..sometimes I really wonder what's actually in these capsules..I wish there was a brand that could actually be trusted

Well, what actually made me think it's unsafe is the first post from _Amonita_ in this thread: http://www.breastnexus.com/showthread.php?tid=12125&pid=51752&highlight=blood+clotting#pid51752 in which she claims some girls have reported blood clotting.

The second reason is that their automatic response for shipping confirmation says that "If you have any questions about your order please contact us at dummyemail@magentocommerce.com" leading to a non-existing email address. Also, the first two times I've tried to contact them through the form in the website, I got no reply. ):

Moreover, I think the info about the product is so limited! They don't detail the way to use it or the risks there may be. There should be at least a package insert (or prescribing information, I don't know how you call it in English Tongue).

Finally, I asked them if I could get refund sending back the unopen bottles because I've heard bad rumors about their brand and they just answered yes. I mean, they didn't try to convince me it's a reliable brand or whatsoever. I know it's better than a negative response or no response at all, but I'd expected some defense.

Pansy-Mae, how is it working for you? How do you take it?

i've ordered siriporn PM in the past and it sometimes come with a packet insert. if you read it, you can tell they were just copying and pasting the text because the grammar is off and they try hard to make it sound really scientific.

i'm not dissing siriporn. infact, i'm using their lotion. i'm just making a point that to me, all PM companies seem sketchy.

if you ever take birth control pills, there's always warning about the increased risk of blood clotting. so you taking the UK brand won't give you any higher chances of getting blood clots than any other pills that will increase your estrogen level.

Its always very unsafe to take the word of somebody who is reporting what she thinks somebody else may have said!

Well, I'm in the UK, so shipping isn't a problem but my last lot arrived 2 days after I placed the order.
The only time I contacted them, via the website, I got a helpful answer the next day, as I recall.

I'm not sure what more you want... I have a bottle in front of me which says "1 capsule after breakfast and 1 capsule before bedtime". It then goes on to warn against taking it if you are pregnant, have tumours, etc.

Again, you are unhappy with it and they've said you can send it back, without arguing. I don't see whats to complain about there.

Well, I took Ainterol for over a year. I started to grow after about 3 months and that worked well for about 8 months and then I just stopped growing.
I then switched to an ordinary herb routine for a month or so but that disagreed with me so I switched to PM UK, on the basis that a change may be as good as a rest.
Nothing changed for the first 5 months or so, but in the last couple of weeks I'm cautiously optimistic that I'm seeing/feeling some new development - fingers crossed!

I normally take 2 caps morning and 2 in the evening, but recently I've been taking 2 more mid-afternoon as well, so just possibly that has kick-started the process back in to life!Big Grin

I'm aware that most PM brands are suspicious, but I could find many personal programs that used Ainterol and that made me think it's reliable. On the other hand, the only comments I found about UK PM were negative, so that's why I wanted more feedback.

I wasn't so lucky trying to contact them, but perhaps the form did not work. I had to send it directly to sales@pueraria-mirifica.com and yeah, I got a quick response as well. (:

I missed the basic information which a package insert should have, like clinical pharmacology, warnings about side effects, precautions, overdosage, etc. I know I can search all this in this forum, though I still think it should be included.

I will give it a try since I have no prescription to send the bottles back. Then I'll post my own feedback about UK PM.

As I promised, I came back to leave my own feedback about UK PM.
This is just the second month I've been using it, but I think it would be nice to tell the experience so far, since other girls may be as apprehensive as I was. (:

I took two pills a day for 15 days along with BC (combined pills for 21 days). My menses came normally the day it should.

PM improved my libido so my boyfriend is loving it. Tongue

No negative side-effects were detected. I had some serious headaches during the first month, but there are thousands of other possible reasons for it and I bet on climate change.

It's still too soon to say if it is effective or not. I've seen no results till now. I'm hopeful, though.
