AAH! *Grabs boobs!* What the hell?!

#1

Okay so I started menstruating a couple of days ago and so I've been taking one Thanyaporn Pueraria mirifica pill a day. Just so my body can get used to it and utilize the PM, but not a high enough dose to interrupt my menses. According to the bottle, one pill contains 300mg. However, this formula is a compound formula so there are definitely other herbs mixed in. Even from smelling inside the bottle, it smells very nice and herbal so yes, it's a compound. According to some posts I've seen, there is estimated to be about 100mg of PM in each capsule, but honestly, I have never found a legitimate source proving this. I personally asked Thanyaporn's marketing team but never got a reply. So the 100mg is just word of mouth.

Anyway, what I find weird is that even though I am taking only one pill a day, I'm getting breast pain! On such a low dose?! I'm menstruating just fine and I am experiencing no issues other than breast itchiness and pain.

I am planning on switching to Ainterol once I finish menstruating just to up the dose but last month when I took ainterol for some 5-7 days, I didn't experience the pain, only fullness. Holy crap. Is this Thanyaporn more effective than Ainterol?!

Only time will tell! Tongue

On my bottle it says it has 350mg of PM and only PM.

However they have another product which is 100mg as an extract.

So it might depend on what you got. Root powder version (like ainterol) or extract (like siripon?)

I believe we have the same Thanyaporn but mine does day 300mg instead of 350mg. Ah puu!

Anyway, this is basically it:

The ingredients does say it only has pueraria mirifica.. but I don't believe it. Look at the front of the bottle, it says compound pueraria mirifica capsule which most likely means other herbs are mixed in.

I'm not too familiar with the scent of PM, but I smell some spices and astringent herbs emanating from the capsules. I don't get the same scent from Ainterol who claims to be pure, but even with them I have doubt.

Yeah that is the one I have @ 350mg.

Compound could be a poorly translated word. It could mean crushed(compounded) as in it is grinded up as in to make a powder. Because it only lists PM @ 350 for ingredients.

I just opened an ainterol pill and a thanyaporn pill. The have different textures and smells.

The thanyaporn is a darker color with a more pungent smell. Ainterol is a lighter color and the smell isn't as strong.

Who knows...owell... I won't say it isn't any good because she got all her growth on it till the plateau and switching to ainterol didn't break the plateau.

I don't think it's a translation issue. Thanyaporn has many herbs that have compound listed in the title but also has other herbs that omit the word compound and only feature the herb itself. Not only that, but the company's English isn't horrendous. The main definition of compound is "A thing that is composed of two or more separate elements; a mixture" so I definitely believe there are other herbs mixed in.

From what I've read about the smell and color of PM in this thread, PM is quite varied in color, but usually isn't as strong in scent as Thanyaporn. Whatever herb Thanyaporn mixed in, I hope it's spices great for circulation and breast enhancement! I know members have had success with Thanyaporn! Big Grin

Okay, can PM cause dizziness? Starting last night, I've been having some dizzy spells and it lasted into all of today.

Tonight, I'm so nauseous, I've puked. I'm not done menstruating and should be finished by tomorrow. I only take one Thanyaporn pill a day and it's 300mg. Could the PM possibly be causing this?

All the other days of PM have been just fine for me. This literally came out of nowhere and I'm trying to find a culprit.

Yes, it's the PM, I think.
I'm nauseous from time to time on it too. Mostly in the morning. But I know that my body reacts on estrogen like this. It was the same when I was taking estrogen pills because of my chronic estrogen deficiency. But I also know that after a while my body will get used to this and I rather vomit than continue living without boobs.

Ah, I'm not surprised.

But I also had another epiphany.. I think I caused this nausea with how I took PM. Every morning this cycle, I would take one Thanyaporn pill on an empty stomach and finally eat HOURS later. I read on here once that we should take herbs on an empty stomach for better absorption, but I think PM is too strong for that and requires to be eaten with SOMETHING. The bottle itself directs for it to be taken after a meal.

I'm still nauseous but thanks to last night's treatment of ginger tea, I'm feeling much better than before. I just took one PM pill with breakfast so I'll see if me taking it alone on an empty stomach is a main factor.

Once I remembered that I take PM on an empty stomach, this nausea suddenly became very familiar to me. I was experiencing similar troubles when I was sick and wasn't hungry so I would eat very little. That caused me lots of nausea and bowel trouble.

Bleh. So taking PM with food didn't make any difference.

I ended up going to the hospital because of my persistent nausea and vomiting. I was severely dehydrated and they brought me back to feeling way better.

I'm still rather dizzy, but this medicine helps a lot. I am honestly not sure if the PM is the cause of this because I took the Thanyaporn PM for days and was just fine.

My sudden dizziness started in the night time although I took one PM pill in the morning.

Anyway, according to the doctor, this is just a yucky case of stomach flu. When I first got the symptoms, it wasn't long after I ate so I probably did eat something that caused it. I took one Ainterol pill this morning and will be continuing my PM cycle. Last cycle, I had no problems when I took Ainterol. I'm still suspicious of Thanyaporn but next cycle, I will see if Thanyaporn is truly the culprit or just a framed innocent bystander. Until then, Thanyaporn is retired.

Nevermind, I definitely believe the Thanyaporn PM was the culprit of all this crap.

Augh. I did a search in this section on nausea and got a good number of results that perfectly match mine! Nausea, dizziness, sensitivity to light, vomiting, I am not alone in this!

This sucks. ;-; Last cycle with me taking Ainterol only went smoothly.. but I only got to take it when my period ended due to shipping.

I don't know if Ainterol won't cause any adverse reactions in me, but if I'm gonna cycle PM from day 1, I gotta find a balance; a supplement that won't have me feeling like shit.

Thanyaporn PM has failed this test. But possibly because I took it while menstruating. -.- Ainterol is still in the running.
