When I pump my breasts always go some shade of purple (bad, I know). They don't even turn red first. I don't think I'm pumping hard. Even when I barely feel a tug, they are still that color! I don't get red dots, bruises, or anything like that, but my nipples turn strange colors too. When I tape them they are red, otherwise purple or even white! I think I'm cutting off the circulation, but have no idea how to fix it... Maybe the veins are squished?
Anyone have any advice?

mine get the same way! im new also so i dont know if thats bad or not

From what I've read it could be that
1) your cups are too big for you and are putting too much pressure on your skin
or
2) you're not drinking enough water

or it could be a little of both. Hope this helps!
