So after reading up on ALL the benefits of Spearmint Tea, I got to wondering what were some of the benefits of the other teas I enjoy. I've always LOVED Jasmine and Chrysanthemum tea. Hunch confirmed =) there are tons of benefits to both. Jasmine oil massage has reduced menepausal symptoms and may help lower cancer and stroke risks. Chrysanthemum contains many nutrients including amino acids and helps detoxifies the blood. Hmm...wonder what some of the other tasty teas are good for??

And for the most part, the majority of the benefits are directly associated with the plants themselves... You can eat them raw, eat them dried, take them dried in a capsule, brew a tea... All of these ways of consuming them will net almost all the same benefits.
There are SOME certain benefits though that seem to take boiling the plant for some period of time in order to cause a reaction that produces the benefit.
So usually tea is best.
However, there are also benefits for some plants that are destroyed when boiled... so... you just have to be careful and study on what benefits you're after and what's the best way to consume a plant in order to achieve it and not destroy it.

We've already had the convo of the importance of how herbs are prepared LOL. I just thought that since I love and sometimes crave these teas, whether they may have something I need.
What's your favorite tea Abi?

I honestly don't have one... haha. Not really a tea drinker here. And since I'm NOT British unlike certain of my friends on other sites seem to think, it's not blasphemy for me not to be a tea drinker
That said I do think I'm going to start brewing a cocktail of spearmint and chinese skullcap for the boiled water component required to activate the gelatin I'm using for my bars I'm working on creating... It'll just be spearmint for the version I'll be selling though. Though I might sell more than one version... maybe. Still waiting for stuff to come in. MOST will be here today... but not all.

Right on!
I saw you were thinking of making a meal replacer-ish bar. How's that coming? I'd def be interested in buying some lol.
Once I'm further into my program and have better gauged the herbs benefits, I'm interested in making natural skin and hair care products...I also want to start a food blog though which will probably happen first =)

Still waiting for two more important ingredients. Well. One REALLY important ingredient, the other, not entirely that important, but it's still kinda important.
I'll be sure to let you know when I'm ready to start selling.
Your own business plans sound fun...
But I think we've digressed a bit. LOL.

I like to drink tea specially green tea because it has so many health benefits. Green tea improves skin and burns fat. It fights with cancer and prevents our body from many diseases. It is good to drink two cup iof green tea in a day.
