Long time hops & FG user

Sounds like you need some clones of yourself for all of your experiments! lol I'm always impressed by your extremely scientific and thorough approach, and it is paying off for you! Big Grin

Thank you chiquitabella,

It's beginning to pay off, yes Big Grin

But I took random menopause supplements for five years before hops started me growing. Then I stuck to hops for another five years, and added fenugreek. It wasn't until I found this forum, that I noticed different people have similar results on the same program, even if they're no clones Smile

It's a pain if results are bad. But with something like L-arginine, I wouldn't be surprised if more people do well on it.

Hi Marcy,

My maca is from Mattisson.

Maca and fenugreek are fine, but research interactions of ciplactin with herbs. If there is an interaction between ciplactin and any diabetes medication, stay away from fenugreek. If there is an interaction between ciplactin and either estrogen or testosterone replacement therapy, or with birth control, stay away from maca.

Add saw palmetto only if you get breakouts, hair loss, or body or facial hair. Another thing you could do then is lower or stop maca.

My butt is really rounding out, but the tape measure around the widest part doesn't pick up on it. Maybe I should designate a pair of jeans as "measuring jeans".

You're welcome, Marcy,

That's great, you found it! It makes a huge difference in motivation and self-confidence, because you designed your program, researched it, and found it's safe.

Good luck with your program Big Grin

I had a pimple yesterday. On my left breast, of all places. Maybe it was still a consequence of high maca and low hops, but it definitely came up while I was increasing hops.

So cycling hops every three days is just confusing. The symptoms of low hops appear during high hops. I'm slowing down. The estrogen peaks of women are 6 days long. Yesterday was the third day of increasing hops, so I have three days to go. But since I'm at 3,000 mg already, I'll just keep that dose for three more days.

I keep maca, fenugreek, and goat's rue low now. I want to know if I get more growth from more hops. And frankly, I love the pointed look it gives me. They were rounder the last few days. That's gone now Big Grin

I also found out that I am a banana shape so hopefully maca and fenugreek will increase/ balance out my estrogen if that makes sense

Hi Marcy,

Maca may do the opposite, but fenugreek will indeed help you round out, in two ways: because it increases prolactin (swelling), and the diosgenin in it increases progesterone, which grows glandular and alveolar tissue.

Diosgenin increases estrogens only very little. It's the estrogens that make the milk ducts longer, and create the banana shape. Maca increases estrogens if you take enough anti-androgens, because it increases DHEA. Testosterone is made from DHEA, and testosterone can become either dihydrotestosterone (DHT), or estrogens. Anti-androgens block 5α-reductase, the enzyme that makes DHT from testosterone.

So if you have enough anti-androgens (no breakouts), all the maca becomes estrogens. They will grow the milk ducts, and push your nipples outward. I just looove the banana shape Blush

But if you want roundness, there is practically no limit to how much fenugreek you can use. I went up to 10,000 mg and still grew, at least temporarily, from the swelling. If you are afraid the progesterone will stop your permanent growth, you can add goat's rue for more prolactin (swelling) without progesterone.

Because fenugreek does not increase testosterone, and it increases estrogens only very little, you can't stall on it. The anterior pituitary gland measures the total amount of sex steroids, and if that's too high, it shuts down the production of Luteinizing Hormone (LH), to stop the ovaries making more estrogens. Fenugreek can never get you in that situation.
