Herbal routine/ supps. with or without food? your experience or advice.

#1

so i have just added a little oomph to my herbal routine :] i have been taking them without food and making sure i feel my stomach is mostly empty. but what are y'all's experiences, advice or comments on taking herbs with or without food.

i am taking fennel, fenugreek, wild yam, red clover, saw palmetto, gaba, paba, licorice at various time of the day on a clear belly. i take other supps with food like evening primrose/ borage/flaxseed/ cod liver oil, a daily vite, msm.

haha. i don't know if that is the whole list. anyway, about any supps, what do y'all think?

thank you and healthy happy growth of boobs and fulfillment of life to everyone here especially today :]

I've heard this subject debated a few times but I don't know if there's any definitive answer. Some take herbs on an empty stomach and some don't. I'm not even sure whether this matters very much.

I take most of mine on an empty stomach. I don't digest food quickly. So the herbs won't get into my system if they are mixed in food that is trying to digest.

I take only fenugreek in the afternoon and at night. Since I don't digest quickly, there is no choice but to take them when my stomach is still half full. I notice the most tingles during the am hours, when I have taken them on an empty stomach.

I have heard that immediately before meals is best but I don't think the timing's a critical issue.

When I was on BB (bountiful breast) it's says to take them 30mins to an hour before or after meals, so they get absorbed betterSmile
