My Journey - Growth to Loss to Growth Again!

From ages 17-22 I was flat chested (32 AA). I was 109lbs and 5'9.5 and I struggled with anorexia during those years.

At 22, I decided I needed help. Taking recovery seriously, I chose to meet with a doctor and nutritionist in functional medicine. They put me on a strict paleo diet to achieve a healthy weight, along with supplements.

I was also drinking peanut butter + banana protein shakes, with flaxseed every morning. And I began weight lifting to gain muscle, curves and boost my appetite.

My healing process took off. After a year, I reached 140lbs and was the healthiest I'd ever been.

Throughout my journey, I also noticed my breasts were growing... they were significantly LARGER.

At 23, I had gone from being a 32 AA to a 32 D naturally via my paleo diet, supplements and weight lifting (I have never been on any birth control or synthetic hormones).

 It felt like a second puberty.

FLASH FORWARD:

My breasts stayed bigger, but then the pandemic hit. My boobs had reduced in size and I had lost weight unintentionally. 

I was down to 125lbs and I was a 32B

The reasons were:

  • My gym was closed, which had helped me gain weight and muscle

  • I was depressed due to lack of socializing

  • I was not eating as much, or keeping up with my supplements at that time

Last November, I decided I wanted to try to gain weight and muscle and attempt to increase my breast size again.

As of today: I am 138lbs and back to 32 D 

My goal size is 32 F

Current routine:

  • Vitamin C

  • Iron

  • Vitamin E 

  • B vitamins

  • Zinc

  • Biotin

  • Omega 3

  • Sage Women’s Drink Mix: Vitex, Kudzu, Ginseng, Dong Quai, Licorice, Motherwort, Sage, Black Cohosh, Wild Yam (I don’t know the amounts)

  • 500 mg Vitex

  • 1400 mg Fenugreek

  • 500 mg Saw Palmetto

  • 500 mg Maca

My diet is mostly paleo again, 3x meals and snacks in between. I drink goat milk every day, upping my consumption of fermented foods and I refrain from alcohol, caffeine, processed foods and sugars. 

  • Massage every night with flaxseed oil: 

    • 40x inward rotations 

    • Gua sha to drain lymph in my armpits 

    • Gua sha tops of breasts and move fat from armpit to breasts 

    • Gua sha underneath breasts and around nipple

  • Exercise 3-4x a week for an hour per session (weights) split into upper and lower body days.

I want to incorporate 500mg Pueraria Mirifica, 1000mg of MSM, and Wild Yam Progesterone cream, but I plan to stay on my current program for 3 months or so, until adding those in.

One other thing is: MINDSET. Honestly, I’ve noticed my mood and mindset has an effect on my body and breast growth. I feel wonderful with how my body looks now and I am enjoying the process. I want to encourage everyone that yes, go after your goals (it’s not wrong to have them), but find joy in the journey!

first of all I wanted to congratulate you on your great progress!

For me the pandemic was different, I was training everyday and I was much motivated, but now the opposite.

Listen I just posted a thread where I explain my supplements and I saw that you also take maca and fenugreek, how is it going?

I started having severe headaches almost from not being able to do anything, did it happen to you too?

Do you take them while the whole cycle or only in the luteal/follicular phase?

Today i started with 500mg PM too

Thank you! Maca and Fenugreek have not had any adverse side effects for me. I have been taking them through the whole cycle, but stopping Fenugreek 3 days before I menstruate. Do you take your supplements with food? I have noticed with other vitamins, that if I do not take them with my meal, I feel pretty nauseous and my stomach hurts.


I am hoping to start cycling PM down the road, but I still haven't been able to find a reputable source that is from Thailand. What brand are you taking?

How long have you been taking maca and fenugreek? I should have stopped too taking FK before my menstruation, because I had blood clots never seen before!

However, I usually take everything in capsules before breakfast on an empty stomach.

Maca Root I bought it on amazon NATURE LOVE brand. Fenugreek also on amazon TRUE NATURE. PM I bought it on ebay brand ASIA HERBALS.

For stomach pain, I can tell you that the first two days I had severe cramps in my belly that made me run to the toilet very often with very strong pain, I almost wanted not to take anything anymore, but after two days everything was gone, except now, that I have a terrible headache from not being able to do anything!

Do you see some changes now?

I have only been on the Fenugreek and Maca together for a week now. I have taken Fenugreek in the past for 2 months or so, but then took a break and now I'm using it again with the Maca (which I have never used in the past). Hmm, maybe if you have stomach pains you should try taking your supplements with food?


Also, I have done a lot of research on PM lately and it seems most people on Breast Nexus are at WAY too high of a dose. According to this article https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC5127102/ the recommended dose is 1–2 mg/kg b.w./day which means you shouldn't be exceeding 200mg a day. This could be why you are having headaches?


I have purchased a PM powder from Ainterol and I'm going to only have a very small dose 1/16th of a teaspoon to start out and only use it during my follicular phase. It seems that PM is very estrogenic and could put you into estrogen dominance (which has many bad side effects) if you aren't careful with it.


In the past week, I think I have gone up 1/4th of an inch? I am not too far into my luteal phase, so I think it's my new program.. I will have to wait until more time passes to really see though.
