I will keep doing this way until June and take notes about this method though cause I will post lots of tips and thoughts about pumping journey this summer in 2017 .(I am doing a big documentary about all the doubts I have had during this full year ( in 5 days I hit 1 year pumping!!) , progress, supplements, results, tips, so far)

Also, last year I gained 16 kgs (35 pounds )  Rolleyes sooo for new years resolution I decided I was going to loose 4kgs (8) and meanwhile pump . These last two months I've noticed differences in swelling depending on my cycle and days I was sick or not (infections, high fever, hate it) and I must admit I haven't gotten a good swelling like I used to . Plus, I was 89 cm last year and today I measured myself ( I haven't since october) and I lost 2cm (about 1 inch) It makes me feel upset sometimes but I won't give up, and you shouldn't either. Remember, this is a JOURNEY not a championship. Be patient, consistent and everything will be fine!

Thank you again, Sweetorange. You really are sweet. I actually always do pump and hold because when I tried pump and release, I didn't notice any difference. So annoying! At least you get some swelling. I still don't know what it means! If I remember correctly you also grew a couple of cup sizes and you grew fast.

Wow, I hope you share your documentary with us?? I think many could benefit. I would definitely be interested in knowing more.

You're right, this isn't a race, it's a journey. And it's different for everyone. It's hard to be patient but I'm working on it!

Yes I have grown two cups already but this system needs perseverance and being kind of, let's say , smart. It takes you time , physical time I mean . For growing a bit (by a bit I mean a cup) you need more or less 100 hours (that's what I have experienced at least) but the day has just 24 , we are human beings, we need to socialise therefore... so it cannot absorb you . You have to be multitasking sometimes (i.e doing homework, research for NBE, etc) while you are pumping [in my case I do NBE research, food research and sometimes research for my doctorate in law as well] because you need 1h everyday of your life at least (and 1h in a day means %4 of your day) . You also need to take into account your health conditions, age, your skin (in my case i suffer dermatitis so i can't use dumb topicals) etc etc etc. It seems complicated at first , but once you are into your routine and focused on your goals, everything will be fine. Make up a schedule , it's essential.
I'd suggest you using 7:2 method for some weeks, like 4-5 weeks and see what's going on. Swelling it's a good sign but I read on this forum swelling may vary from one person to another. Be patient, please!

Oh and yes, I'm doing the documentary because I think having information condensed on the forum is beneficial for all the users. Also, because there are lots of people who have helped me with my journey and I do have to be the same, not just like an obligation but because I want to help other people too.

Thank you for your advice, Sweetorange. I really appreciate it.
I'm afraid it has already been nearly 100 hours of pumping for me. I pump one hour a day. I've tried pumping longer, I once tried for 4 hours but got no swelling at all.
You're right, perseverance is very important. I would like to see a little something though!
I would actually like to do something productive while noogling (I'm impressed at your multitasking skills!) but my domes fall right off so I need stay still. I can watch tv or read at most (reading is bit tricky though)...
I'm going to try the 7:2 method as you suggest. It's going to be tiring but if you think it might help, I'll try it out for at least a month. Thank you again for sharing your tips and knowledge with us. <3

Fruitcake, thank you. I just read that you stopped. I hope you are just taking a break? Your swelling is incredible. There are times when I want to give up but if I had some swelling, it would give me even more incentive. I think your swelling is an indication. x

Sweetorange i get a really good swelling that lasts 3-4 hours but after its gone everything is just gone. Every day for the past 12 weeks. Then i started reading posts of some people on breast nexus who have said they get the swelling but after 8 months of persistent noogling they still havent grown. How can you swell so much and then it comes straight back down. Lotus said its like a balloon that inflates then deflates if you dont eat the foods that will feed the cells to stay. Such as coconut oil etc. I want it to work so bad but its disheartening when you swell up to a c cup and then its comes straight back down. Of course you can pm me but all im reading at the moment is how noogleberry is temporary and doesnt work. I think i only swell because my breasts have expanded durig breast feeding 11 yrs ago. Im aslo 38 yrs old- whats the likelihood of me growing at this age. It all feels like a nasty joke but im not laughing from it.

Don't worry, Fruitcake. You can write in this thread as much as you want. We're on the same boat, after all.

After reading how you feel, I completely understand. Swelling and deflating, swelling and deflating......but I heard that the you add up a slight amount of growth each time and the longer you pump and swell, the more you will grow.

I can imagine how discouraged you feel because I'm also discouraged (from not getting any swelling at all) but how will we ever know if it works or not, if we don't continue?

Why don't you continue for about 3 more months at least? You've come so far. It seems you swell more and more each time....

But swelling is a temporary symptom - of course it's normal to get back to your normal shape after some hours but in that amount of time of swelling you get a bit of growth each time. It takes time, this is not magic (wish it was! haha) and everybody reacts in a different way. Don't give up any of you !!!

Hi there,

As sweetorange said - each time you swell there is growth.  The now defunct Brava system was prooven to work but doomed to fail on two fronts.  One the cups were massive and you have to wear them 12hrs a day for 8 to 12 weeks and you'd gain about a cup size...so lets break this down.

You Noogle for how many continuous hours per day and at what amount of vacuum?  These two things are key.

The more time you can continuously Noogle the better.  And as vacuum, it's not a lot!  It's very low pressure but consistent -20 mmHg is all - that's very low vacuum.  If you have a pump with the gauge then it's easy to see where you're at, if you don't then the amount of vacuum is about what you can make by just sucking on the hose to your cups.  Do it as strong as you can by mouth and then back off by about half and you'll be just about perfect.  Once you know that feeling then you can keep it with your pump.

Oils, pills, oat - oh my!  True, feeding our bodies what it needs to support growth has a factor in how fast and how much but vacuum alone over long (long) periods of time will do just the same (proven medically - https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/10845308)

There's also some evidence on using higher vacuum pressures to promote more growth on wounds but me personally anything over -125mmHg my skin turns red and discolors for several days, so I usually try to aim for -100mmHg which is about at the top of what suction you can achieve with your mouth.

So why do peoples millage vary?  The obvious and easy way out answer is we're each different.  This answers the short term question on quick results, however long term those differences factor out for the most part - there's still the differences in results, but in the long term, there's always results.

So why do some folks see results quicker.  Water retention and adipose tissue.  The more tissue you have the quicker you see swelling results is my theory and it's based on the logic that you have more tissue to respond to the treatment than someone with less.  And the other factor is how long you Noogle...Some folks have different methods: pump and hold, pump and release on some ratio (7minutes pump: 2 minutes rest; 15:5, etc).  I usually pump and hold but have also seen great swelling with interval pumping but I still pump like that as long as I can thorough out the day.

I also swear by water Noogling.  It's a pain in the butt to get it right in the begging but the learning curve isn't huge and I'd estimate that I'm about 2 times more effective with water Noogling (Hydro-Noogling) than with just air.  The steps are simple -
  1. fill your cup up about 2/3rds to 3/4th full or less if your breast fills more of the cup to start with.  For example if your breast fills the cup half way by itself, then only fill to 1/3rd full of water.  You'll want to keep some air in there to get suction faster
  2. bend over and lower breast into cup - may want to be in the shower or bathtub the first few times you do this, water spillage if over filled Wink
  3. press cup into chest, stand up and pump out excess air (lean back against the wall to get the last bits out)
  4. repeat on the other side.
I sometimes don't try to get all the air out while standing and will get the rest out and pump to my desired pressure on the bed lying on my back.

I usually keep pressure at -100mmHg else my skin discolors.  I usually keep them on until the water gets cold at which time, I'll try to re-do with warm (not hot!) water and do another hour or so until water cools and repeat.  Or I'll switch to air Noogling after first - just depends on what my activity level is required.  I usually don't move around a lot while water Noogling as it can suck in air easier and it's a pain to stop what I was doing and suck out the air.

I hope this helps - main thing to take a way, as other's have said - is to keep at it, and over time you'll be amazed Smile
