I also found this on the Wikipedia page for Progesterone:I think the calming effect is supposed to come from GABA receptor upregulation. Serotonin from an SSRI actually gave me anxiety. Serotonin lowers dopamine, and when dopamine is already low, cratering it means that dopamine can no longer limit norepinephrine release. High norepinephrine = excessively amped.
"Progesterone enhances the function of serotonin receptors in the brain, so an excess or deficit of progesterone has the potential to result in significant neurochemical issues."
But that got me thinking...since Progesterone is supposed to be at its highest levels in our bodies during the luteal phase, then why most of us suffer from PMS? Is that a sign we have a deficiency in that hormone?
Progesterone is declining during PMS, so it sounds like progesterone withdrawal. You eventually adapt to the lower level so PMS ends before progesterone rises again. (Don't hold me to this as I've never researched the subject.)

I searched YouTube but found none. Or is it not helpful for breast growth?
