Milk and PM

#1

I've seen recommendations to take the PM with a glass of milk. Does anyone know why?

Speculating, it could be for the calcium, or for the butterfat, or just to sooth the stomach.

And does anyone know if it needs to be whole milk, or will skim milk be ok?

I had read somewhere, that the milk controls the stomach acid, causing PM to get absorbed better. I think it is the calcium in the milk that helps the absorption.

Actually, if you look at the bottle, PM caps have a small amount of calcium included. At least the ainterol brand....

I normally take mine with some milk or calcium tablets anyways though, as what's included is not a large amount.

The reason people say to take it with milk is def because of the calcium , at least in everything I've read.
