Actually, @HappyMe, you may be right. The reason so many women experience shallow breasts after breastfeeding probably IS because of estrogen dominance.

It really sounds like my hormones are unbalanced, and it's due to pregnancy and breastfeeding. Perhaps it wasn't wise to start NBE immediately after weaning my youngest.
