Hey Ashley,

Hope things have been going better for you. I was wondering what that was, too. I just decided to start eating a cup of jello each night. I figured that might be good enough. I would never live it down if my hubby saw me boiling chicken feet. He would tease me about that until I'm old and gray. :p What a brat. Then he would probably chase me around the apartment trying to stick the feet in my face.

How's your progress been? You'll have to send me an update email.

I've been thinking of making little boob plushies with cute little faces. If any of you girls are interested, please let me know through kappakreations@gmail.com. If there's enough interest, I'll try to draft a pattern and start making them. ^_^

Once again I am a small town girl, so canning food around here is normal. You can buy plain gelatin at certain stores, to use in recipes. It makes food gel-like, hence jello. Many people use it when making their own jams or jellies from scratch. They have it at any grocery store where the jello is, or at Walmart where canning supplies are. I just bought some a couple days ago, and have mixed it in with cranberry juice but haven't had much luck drinking it so far! It gels up so fast! Last night I tried to chug it, but it got thick at the bottom, and gritty, and I ended up gagging and couldn't drink it all. They have beef gelatin capsules, but I haven't had any answers on how effective they would be. I wonder, would chicken wings work?? I just can't bring myself to boiling the feet. . . .

I was using the packets...I would mix it into a hot cup of water with some chicken or beef flavoring and drink it.

I just mix it with juice. It does get thick, but I kind of like it. I just keep stirring it. Each packet has 7g of protein.

I had this same problem. I finally found the unflavored Gelatin, which in my local Walmart is in the Baking Goods aisle right there with the Jello. I bought the "Knox" brand. I was a little confused as to what to do with it as well. I followed a recipe on the box and just made it smaller. I basically just made the jello. I eat that twice a day, with my lunch and for dessert after dinner. I put a little bit of cool whip on top, makes it taste better and has hardly any calories.

Umm so since it says to mix juice with it I decided that I didn't want to use too much juice, I used a cup of cold water first, let it sit a minute then a cup of boiling juice, mixed it up and let it Gel up for 3 hours in the fridge then you're good to go. I used a really good juice, I bought V8 acai berry, looked healthy anyway lol. The recipe on the box called for 4 packets of the Knox gelatin, but I didnt want to make so much to start, I'll just make it as I go along, didn't want to make too much at once. 4 packets....4 cups of juice or water and juice, 2 packets....2 cups juice or juice and water. This is the way I prefer to do it. Good Luck 2 ya!
