Vitex dosage?

I have started taking vitex now to sort out my estrogen dominance, they are 400mg capsules. What dosage should I be taking? It says 2 a day but that's not for NBE.

Hi Roseability,
Just take the vitex according to the label directions. Vitex is useful in balancing your hormones in order to allow your body a chance of responding to NBE.
With any herb, not matter what the purpose, you are trying to use the least amount to produce the results you want. You will get the results you are seeking with what the label suggests.
Remember, vitex takes months to work and what it does is lower your prolactin and raise your progesterone. This is not a recipe for NBE, this is a recipe for hormone balance.
Just be patient and it will work well.

O, I thought balancing my hormones would make my boobs grow. So how do you grow boobs without using estrogenic herbs?

Rose many women and girls with hormone imbalance breast does not develop as it would if they didn't have the imbalance so balancing your hormones can make your boobs grow.Will it? I don't know but it definitely is a possibility b/c if you are delayed puberty then you have your hormones working like they never have before then you may grow.Anyways,Chasteberry (Vitex)400 I take 3 a day.I too have estrogen dominance but I now am having periods which I usually didn't have that much.People want tits fast so many don't try vitex or properly b/c it is not a fast acting herb.You must be patient after all in cases where people have imbalance the important thing is to be balanced not boob growth but it may happen with balancing hormones that are all over the place it makes sense.I have no problem with my boobs or anything I got on Vitex to be regulated from that damn PCOS however I notice my boobs to be more full and the tenderness didn't come on that time of the month.It depends on the imbalance and in your case I believe Vitex will do you good even if not for boob growth but for your well being.Goood luck mami.
