www.pubmed.gov is an awesome sight to bookmark for everything. Specifically:
http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/16177978
Short version: If I understand correctly a large dose deregulated the rats' already raised pregnancy hormone production, with externally obvious results and internally damage to nearby tissue. You can get bulk herb for literally 1/15th the price of pills, also a good idea for everything. Recommended dosages seem to range from 1,000-~24,000 mg (3 tablespoons); the study matches about 14,000 mg of extract, which equals much more actual powder.
CAN THIS BE USED AS A TOPICL WITH THE SAME RESULTS?
