Hey Wahaika....I think Rachyl is a NB troll. That's all she posts about.

It was only a matter of days that I was taking the program listed on 23-4-2011. I noticed the tingles go away probably the 2nd day into that program, and so I took the extra 2 SP's back out.
I was currently taking as of Thursday the 12th.....

1800mg total Fenugreek
450mg total Saw Palmetto
300mg total Barley Grass
300mg total Hops
400mg Soya powder for protein
1 multivitamin
1 250mg Cranberry pill

I stopped taking the above on Thursday the 12th and took over the weekend only the SP, Cranberry, and Mulitivitamin. By Sunday the 15th, I had the tingles back.

Chi Massage 1xday
Boobie batter with FG, Borage oil, Hops, Oatstraw, and EVOO twice a week, but I skipped that last week as well.

I guess the question is, where do I go from here?

I was going to suggest asking Wahaika and it's a good thing he responded. I also didn't take anything over the weekend (went camping for 3 days), and during that time didn't do anything, but when I came back I noticed some tingling and shooting pains. I wonder if not taking anything fools the body and wake it up from it's resting/stalling mode, and start going into a growing mode. I don't know. I do know that Wahaika would suggest once in a while to do a "stall" or stopping test from your normal NBE routine to trick the body from getting use to our normal routine. It's much the same as exercising. When you vary your routine and the duration of the workout, the workouts are more effective.

Yep, what you are describing is cycling. It keeps the body guessing. For some women it can work very well.

The first thing that I would suggest is to drop the soy protein powder. Soy slows the thyroid. If you eat meat in your diet it is much better. You also get Arachidonic Acid from meat and it is one more useful building block that is not in soy.

Try backing out the hops for now. If you start having androgen problems then it would be a good thing to add back in. You are not taking enough to make a difference anyway. If you want to use hops make it equal with fenugreek. Also, add Wild Yam equal to fenugreek. Saw Palmetto could be raised also. It will help with the androgen problems.

You are a C cup and grew to D while nursing, correct? This means that you can handle higher dosages than someone who has not. I also recommend greenbush herbs (kit #2 BTW) Try this:

Ramp dosages of Fenugreek, Saw Palmetto, Wild Yam until you get growing pains back or until you reach 3000mg per day, each. Do not exceed 3000mg per day of fenugreek.

Keep the multivitamin, especially the B complex.
1000mg EPO three times daily
1000mg flaxseed oil three times daily.
Cranberry is Ok.
Barley grass is Ok.

400mg soya powder for protein? Hmmm. This is not enough to make a difference, so you can keep up with that, but you may need to start taking kelp if you start getting signs of a slowing thyroid - but 400mg is not going to do that.

You could also take 3000mg per day of MSM.

Massage and batter: Remove the oatstraw. Add goat's rue if you can. Once per week, add extra fenugreek powder to the batter (and goat's rue is OK too, additionally) to make the consistency like a paste. Put it on and sit under a heated pad for 1 hour. Leave on all night if possible.

Are you using heat with your massage? If not, follow the usual massage with 30 minutes of heat from a heated pad set to low. Do this twice per day if you can. Sleep with the batter on all night if you can.

I think I might be confusing you somewhat. I don't take protein powder, but I do take soya powder for protein. Plus, I like the nutty flavor, don't know why. It kinda makes eating the herbs more tolerable. I was only taking about 400mg, as I didn't want to go overboard.

I am a very small C right now, from the growth of the first month of herbs. I did however start my NBE journey conflicted. If I wear smaller than a b cup, my breasts do not fit in them, but according to the online bra calculator I should be a 32A. I have tried on several 32A's. They don't fit. I was a large D while breastfeeding.

I will add Wild Yam, and start those that you have also suggested, but I do not know what EPO is. I will add MSM as soon as I can get it here.

I have been using heat, and leaving massage batter on all night when I do use it. But it's not a heating pad, it's an electric blanket. I get cold easily, and almost always sleep with the blanket on. Lately it's been on high, because it's been cold here.

If you don't think Barley is essential, then I can drop that as well. But the Cranberry has to stay.

When you buy MSM, get Carlson's brand if you can find it. Any brand might be Ok, that's just the one that I think is best.

Barley is not essential. Cranberry has to stay. Hmmm. Have you looked into d-mannose?

Thanks. I had never heard of D-Mannose. I have seen EPO a lot on here, but still couldn't figure out what it was. I will get those, and search for the Carlson's brand MSM. Again, thanks for all of your help. You are so informative! Smile

Hi MoK217, I sooo want to stop NBE but afraid to lose what I gained since I started NBE 12/9/10. I went to buy new bras yesterday and I fit 34B, (but funny, 32C is tight), and this is what my goal was. I'll finish my herbs, and continue to noogle but cut down to once a day (experiment).

I started working out and I'll continue with that since it makes me feel so good and energized. Hopefully, I'll stay on the same size.
