Fengshui and others: about Green Papaya

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

I was wondering what I should make green papaya with?

Like what kinds of foods could I subsitute with Green Papaya with?

Could I use it with anything I would normally put veggies with? Can I put it into my chicken foot soup? What is it best with?

What does it taste like green? I love it ripe but never had it green before?

I eat my raw papaya as a regular fruit serving and a desert after dinner. It's fine to have it by itself. It tastes sweet to me but a hint of bitterness but I'm so used to the taste that it tastes sweet for the most part. I also don't cook it since it deactivates the enzymes that are supposed to be good for us, and kills the papain in the papaya. Eating it raw has done a great deal for me.

Try green papaya salad. It's served raw too.

I will try it just raw and see how it tastes. I was going to try and cook it so I guess its a good thing you told me. I will try it because I am amazed at your growth! Congrats and I am looking forward to seeing your before and after pics when your ready to post them.

i love green papaya salad....the vietnamese restaurants make the best ones!!!

you can cook it with many things.
i cook my green papaya with Bass. you can do other kinds of fish too.
it's very commonly cooked with beef or pig shranks.

It HAS to be green papaya (before it has ripened). There's something that happens to the enzyme when it's ripened that changes the fruit. Like when it's yellow it's considered a fruit and when it's green it's considered a vege (from the nutritional science's point of view). And only the GREEN ones help boob growth

Thanks guys for your helpful tips.

I am kind of scared to eat it raw, but I will try it tomorrow.

I am also wondering why is green papaya good for breast growth? Should I be eating it after I do my massages?

Gosh... Ive been eating normal papaya... green outside, but orange inside... the fruit I guess!
So I must eat an unripe papaya? where can I find it?
In my supermarket they sell only ripe papayas, the choice is rather poor... Im from Europe.

hi

i've just started buying green papaya and i love it in a curry! I just part cook some potatoes then throw them in a pan with some diced papaya and onion and curry sauce etc. I also add a teaspoon of fenugreek. Delicious! I've also added it to protein smoothies too.

You can go free style with green papaya, eat it as you like. I throw in green papaya in any kind of soups, stews or stir-fries, it dosen't really change the flavor of whatever you are making.

jjj,

yea it is difficult. sometimes you might have to befriend a certain fruit seller....and just ask them to keep green, unripe papayas for you. Usually they don't sell them because most people eat it ripe, and the markets don't want to get accused for selling unready papayas.

If you live in Europe then go to traditional markets (when I lived in France there were lots of them around), people are much nicer and are more willing to do favors like this.

The ones I get are very hard. When I cut it open it's almost slightly white one the inside and if I leave it there fore a few minutes I can see the juices seeping through--and the juice is white and looks almost exactly the same as MILK!!! I think of that as a positive thing for NBE. hahaha

some commercial supermarkets sell green papaya just as they sell green bananas before they are ripened...i guess it's a matter of where you are located.
