good luck TM. i'm cheering for you
Thanks, BoobieGirl!

I've been using my NB just about every night now. I noticed the cup stays on easier right from the beginning of the session; it doesn't "fart off" with every breath I take, lol. Well, it still does if I take a DEEP breath. Wink Sometimes after a few minutes, I'll get this deep pain behind my nipple, near the bottom of the nipple. Then I back off the suction a little. This has been happening the last three times. I'm hoping it's a good sign! So far, no red dots, whoo hoo! I barely make it up to the 2" mark on the medium cup. Hopefully that'll get better with time!

I think what helps is massage. I do squeezes and some massage frequently throughout the day, only like 2 minutes at a time. And I focus on that smaller right side. I do notice that my breast seems a little fuller after massaging. I'm sure it's temporary, but it's gotta be helping with blood flow and stuff. I don't even use lotion for my quick massages, just start doing firm little circles all the way around. Kinda randomly. I try to focus on the underboob area, since that is still pathetically empty-looking. Sad

I noticed something strange. I've been getting awful foot and leg cramps pretty frequently the past couple months. I didn't think much of it at first, just figured I was getting old, lol. But then I remembered last time I got awful foot and leg cramps was when I was pregnant with my son, about 5 years ago. So now I'm thinking that my BB program is truly stimulating something in my hormones that are at least in part similar to something that happens during pregnancy? And we all know that boobs are supposed to grow during pregnancy (well, mine never did unfortunately). I'll suffer with these cramps if it means growing boobs!

Sometimes I have subtle, deep aches; sometimes I have some "pinchy" feelings that feel like they're just under the surface of the skin, not really deep.

Also, I have been having ovary pains since I started back on BB. Almost every day. Some days it's pretty bad. And I've been so tired, and cold! I have to have a couple cups of coffee to keep myself awake. I noticed after my coffee yesterday, my temp was 98.7, and I wasn't cold or tired. Today, without coffee, my temp was only 98.3, and I was cold and tired. The past two days I've tried taking both of my raw adrenal glandular capsules together with my first dose of pills instead of separated into two doses; so far, I haven't seen any difference with my temp/tiredness/coldness doing it this way. The only thing that made a difference was my coffee. I'll have coffee again tomorrow and see if it helps again! I found I can't have more than two cups of coffee a day, because my bad reflux pains were acting up again when I was having three cups last week. Darn it. Sad

I discovered that my chest looks so much nicer when I'm standing up straight! Lol! I need to work on my posture. I spent most of my life slouching from trying to hide my chest, and because I had such low self-esteem and stuff; it's hard to change that! Maybe I should practice walking around with a book on my head. Tongue
Hi TM

Try drinking more pure water during the day for those leg cramps. If that doesn't help. Try adding some low dose aspirin.
slouching actually makes your boobs look smaller so it's a good idea to try walking upright
Thanks Andy. I'm trying to drink more water. We have a new reverse-osmosis drinking water filter system, which makes the water pretty pure I think. It tastes good! I find if I just fill up my cup and leave it sitting out where I can see it, I end up sipping from it all the time and needing to refill it a few times throughout the day. So far, the cramps are better. Smile

Yeah BoobieGirl, slouching makes your boobs disappear ... I have been slouching for so many years, it's hard trying to stand up straight! Also, I have scoliosis, so my back usually hurts most of the time. Some days are worse than others. I'm getting better at it, though! Especially now that I'm always checking myself out in the mirror. Wink

Well I have something to report. MASSAGE IS ESSENTIAL FOR NBE. I've been doing my own massage technique for the past 5 or 6 days, mainly squeezes and then doing little circles all the way around my breasts (pressing kinda hard, to do a deeper massage; but not so hard it hurts or anything like that). I don't have the time or endurance to do a long 15-minute massage; so I just do my massages whenever I'm in the bathroom, like 4 or 5 times a day. It only takes like 5 minutes each time. I do the same routine on both breasts; then I repeat it a second time on the smaller right breast only. And I noticed my breasts seemed a little "fluffier" after each massage, especially in the cleavage-wannabe area. I didn't get too excited about it, cuz I figured it was all in my head. But by the second day, I was having more pinching feelings behind my nipples; and some deeper aches in different areas. On days 2 through 4, the nipple on my smaller right breast (did more massaging on that side) was INSANELY itchy. It felt like poison ivy on there! I thought I'd go mad. I totally avoid rubbing or pressing on my nipples during massage because I know how sensitive they are and I DON'T want to hurt them or anything; yet my right nipple was distractingly itchy, all the time. It's still itchy now, though not quite as bad as it was a couple days ago, thank goodness! I'm also having random itchiness on other areas around my breasts now, too. Smile

Well, then I saw the video on Chi Breast Massage that Char put in her new thread (thanks, Char!), and I was like "Oh, so THAT'S how you do it!" And so yesterday I started doing the Chi rotations after each of my 5-minute massage sessions. I can only stand doing like 100-125 rotations at a time instead of the 360 they say in the video; but since I do it like 4 or 5 times a day, I figure that gets me a good 400+ rotations each day anyway. I do the rotations on both breasts at the same time. When I woke up today, I was like OMG, MY BOOBS ARE SOOO SORE!!! It hurt to touch them! I was awake like 6 hours before I did my first massage session because I was afraid to do it! And yes, it hurt, even though I was being a lot more gentle. It's weird, because the area where it hurts the worst is that hard area right behind/immediately around the nipples, even though I never touch that area during massage; only the breast tissue around it. And they are still really sore now! If I press gently on them, it sends sharp, stinging-like pains all over, coming from behind the nipple. That hard area inside feels larger today too. I'm really encouraged by this! They are also a lot rounder. And my smaller right side looks like a boob now, instead of the "moob" look it always had (more meaty on the top and sides, less so underneath). They feel a lot firmer, and definitely fuller. I AM SOOO GONNA KEEP DOING THIS EVERY DAY!!!

Also, and this is gonna sound totally retarded lol, I noticed I have a couple of small stretch marks on my breasts that weren't there before; and I'm like YEAH!!! Big Grin Cuz that means my skin is stretching and my boobs are GROWING. I'm like, take THAT, you blasted measuring tape!!! Finally, some more visible proof that I am growing! Fortunately, they are very small, and flesh-colored; they're only noticeable if I bend backward and the light shines on them (they appear slightly lighter-colored than the surrounding skin, and maybe a little shinier; only noticeable by me though). Or like if I totally hunch forward, and my boobs just hang there, the stretch marks look like a couple of very small wrinkles on the skin on the outside of each nipple (imagine if your nipples were "eyes," these stretch marks are where the "crow's feet" lines would be, for a ridiculous comparison Tongue ). Maybe I should consider using some cocoa butter lotion during the day or something; because while these tiny stretch marks are cool to me, I wouldn't want to get larger, more noticeable ones, ya know.

I still Noogle every night. Fortunately, I'm not getting any red dots; I use very little suction on the left side, and stronger suction on the right. Any swelling I get, if you could call it that, lasts at most half an hour I think. Totally back to normal when I get up in the middle of the night to use the bathroom. I Noogled a good hour and ten minutes on both sides last night; then I took off the left cup and did the right one for another 20 minutes. Still trying to catch that one up with the bigger left side. Although between Noogling and massaging, it's looking heaps better. The difference isn't nearly as noticeable as it was even one week ago. And I use my heating pad for an hour after I finish Noogling too. Sometimes I'll feel some really deep, mild aches during the heat.

Sorry if this was tl;dr. Blush I just actually had something good to report this time! To summarize: Massage is really good for NBE. Smile
yay for massage. you seem to be on a roll TM. keep up the good workBig Grin
hey tm,

thanks for posting that info to char's link. I had a look at the video, and I was amazed at how fast the rotations were. I used to massage with much slower allowing about 2 seconds per rotation, mine were like snail rotations compared to her quick ones! I'll give it a go.

Interesting about the ovary pains. I had some of those the other day. But generally not (thankfully!)

Reading your post I see we are experiencing similar types of pains too.
congratulas twister- mama!
" I'm like, take THAT, you blasted measuring tape!!! Finally, some more visible proof that I am growing!"

yay! keep up the good work girl!
See you people need to listen to me more! haha I've said for ages that massage is key for NBE and that it needs to be put into EVERY NBE program, no one ever listens! Rolleyes

About your scoliosis, I have it as well, sitting up straight and standing straight actually helps it. I sit like I have a pole forcing my spine straight, have done that for years now and I don't have near as much pain as I use to. I was diagnosed with scoliosis very young btw, so have had it most of my life. Also yoga and hypertension exercises really help with scoliosis back pain. I do yoga weekly at least, if I don't I notice it.

About the Chi massage, haha you can't do all the 360 rotations? I am able to, but I do have pretty strong arms and tolerance since I workout and I am already use to doing intense massages. And hun, you are suppose to do the 360 rotations 2 times per day haha. So not sure if you can get that in in a few sessions of 100 or so. I been doing the Chi massage the past 2 days, once yesterday and twice today, I can say they do feel a lil firmer, but not any more so than they do with my usual massages. When I did my own massage technique I only did it once a day, so I think it would be the same effect as the Chi if I did it twice per day.

For the stretchmarks on the boobies, I have them too. I got mine while pregnant cause I went up to a 34C rather quickly during, they are beside my nips on the inside of the boob. They are less noticeable now than they use to be and I think it's because of a few reasons... A. I use cocoa butter lotion daily when I noogle/massage B. after pregnancy I got a pure cocoa butter stick, you can get them at beauty supply stores like Sally's, it comes in a tube that looks like a push up pop. I would rub that on the marks daily and it made them less noticeable after a few months. The only time now that I notice my stretchmarks is right after I pump because I'm swelled.

For the swelling with NB, definitely lots of water throughout the day, everyday. I have a 1 liter water bottle, I fill it up and drink on it throughout the day, I fill it up 2-3 times per day and drink it. If you don't like plain water use crystal lite or propel packs in your water. Also some say MSM helps with swelling.

Oh almost forgot, you said your body temp is messing up without the coffee everyday. Do you take kelp? The kelp really helped fix mine while I was on BO.
Thanks girls! Big Grin My breasts are still fuller than they were before starting all this massage; and they felt firmer when I got up this morning than yesterday. So the massage is definitely helping, as Anastasia has been saying (one of your recent posts is what prompted me to start massaging a week ago, lol!). I had stopped massaging a few months ago, because it totally made me smaller (obviously I must have been doing something wrong); and I got discouraged. Now that I know to correct way to massage, it's working great! Big Grin

Thanks for the tips, Anastasia. I've had my scoliosis since I was a young kid, too; my curve is just a little lower than the middle of my back. Sitting up straight usually hurts for me, because of the stinking nerves that get pinched by my curve. But I'm working on it! I also get a lot of pain in my upper back, between my shoulders. That sucks, too. I've been working on stretching out my chest muscles (pulling my arms back as far as I can) to help with my posture, too. Been doing that for maybe 6 months now? I will have to look into yoga or something. I could definitely benefit from something like that!

Nope, I can't do all 360 rotations at once! I'm totally out of shape! Blush However, I could barely do 100 at once yesterday; today I can easily do 150 at once. My arms are getting more used to it! So, I'm getting somewhere around 600+ rotations per day now. I hope that's OK! Or do all the rotations have to be at once? I also do an additional 120 or so on my smaller right side at each session; so that's like an extra 480 just for that right side. Hopefully that will help!

I will have to get that cocoa butter stick. I never got any stretch marks on my tummy during either of my pregnancies, miraculously; but somehow I have all kinds of really tiny, hard to see stretch marks on my hips, thighs, and butt, even though I never gained my weight there quickly, ever. It was a gradual weight gain throughout my 20's. I even noticed a couple on my knees; and my knees are bony! Always have been, too. My skin just doesn't like me. Sad Of course, the arthritic condition I have also involves the skin, making it more fragile. So that's probably it. But that cocoa butter will come in handy. You're so lucky you grew up to a 34C during your pregnancy; that's my goal size! I never grew AT ALL during either of my pregnancies. I was maybe a 34A for one day right after giving birth, from being engorged (I didn't breastfeed). That was it. Sad

I'm doing pretty good with my water intake now. I don't mind drinking water alone, as long as it doesn't have a weird taste. I also love tea; so I'll have like 4 or 5 big cups of hot decaf tea in the evening. It helps warm me up. I have been FREEZING cold lately! My hands are like ice. I've always had poor circulation in my hands and feet; but this is ridiculous. We keep our house at 73 degrees; so the house isn't cold. I used to be really cold all the time when I was younger, until I had my kids. If BB is supposed to put you back in puberty, maybe that's why I'm so cold now? Like it's recreating whatever condition my hormones were in as a teenager?

I still have a bunch of MSM left. I was taking like 4000-5000mg a day of it last fall, before my program totally stalled; then I cut back to just the essential basics. I may try adding one MSM capsule (1000mg) a day and see what happens. I know MSM is also good for arthritis, so I would like to get back on it again.

I Noogled for like an hour and ten minutes last night, both sides; then took off the left one and did the right one an additional hour. Still no red dots, yay! I wish my right boob would stay the size it is when I take the NB cup off; cuz then it's the same size as the left. Ah well, I know this will take many months. Rolleyes

My temp has been low lately, too; like 98.0. I don't know if my body is getting used to my adrenal glandulars or something. I'm only taking one L-Tyrosine a day; maybe I should take two. I'm still taking two Iodoral tablets a day for iodine. I'm not sure if I switched to kelp if it would help or not? Ugh, I'm so cold it's hard to type. I think I'll make another hot cup of tea.

I hope everyone has a nice Valentine's Day!!! And don't forget to massage! Wink
