Hi
Highland Cow, how is your macrolane experience going?
I am about to book the procedure so am interested in case you have any hints or tips on who to go to, and also on how things are progressing with you?
Do you like the look now or are they still unnatural looking?
I have some slight shrinkage marks on my breasts from when I lost a bit of weight so I am hoping the macrolane will fill these out. Also, I hope I don't get any more stretch marks from the treatment.
I'd love to hear your update.

I think macrolane is better for filling breasts out than actually making them bigger. So much depends on how much you have put in of course, too much injected and they will not look natural at all.

Hi all,
I live in Asia and I have just had the injection done 2 days ago. I think the press and those who had it done were seriously downplaying the pain factor. Yes, it is a lot less painful than getting implants but the injection wasn't 100% painfree. I knew that the skin around my breast area is going to feel tight afterwards but I didn't know that it is going to be this painful! The pain was so bad that I couldn't even lift my arms yesterday. It's getting better today but I think it will probably take another few days before the pain goes away completely. Had somebody warned me about the pain beforehand, I would definitely have thought twice about getting the injection.
As for the result, well, they do look slightly bigger and fuller than before (I had 50cc injected into each boob), but will I go through the painful and not to mention terrifying procedure again? Probably not.

Hi There,
I thought I'd share my experiences of Macrolane as I know it's a new treatment and I struggled to find much out before I had it done. I was a full A/ small B cup. I had 150mls in each breast. I am now a very full B/ medium C (I can fit a C more comfortably).
I had the treatment at London Bridge and I would highly recommend Chris Inglefield.
I am very happy with the results now but be warned it is certainly not pain free and your breasts will feel very hard and lumpy (like tennis balls under the skin) for at least too weeks. My have softened and 'dropped' now and the look and feel v.natural. I would really recommend macrolane as I only took one day off work and the healing time is very quick. Although they feel hard the pain subsides after 2-3 days.
Hope this helps.

Hi ladies,
Interesting to read your experiences, not dissimilar to mine and certainly not what i was told to expect. I like to think i have a high pain threshold but the procedure was absolutely excruciating. I nearly fainted. The pain was quite severe for 2 days, and now on day 6 not so bad but still present and slightly upsetting. I have very hard lumps in both breasts, worse in one than the other. Am starting to massage them and it seems to be helping but it is a bit unsightly and I'm sure contributing to the pain and discomfort. I really hope they resolve quickly, I have just started seeing a new man and not sure what to say about it to him! Seems that the procedure is being mis-sold in the UK? Having said all this, i am quite happy with the result apart from the lumpiness. Not sure if I could go through with the pain again though.

Hey Virginia. Pain will get much better suddendly on the second week. Or so that is what happened to me. I am very very worried about the lumps thou, since they don't desappear. Do you really think that massaging is useful? I got the feeling that they are so hard that it must be impossible to simply help by applying little pressures. Did you doctor suggest you to do that? Thanks C

I wouldn't have thought that massaging makes any difference. I think the stuff just takes time to soften and I'm not sure that there's anything you can do to increase the process. You just have to be patient.

The massage may seem to be helping but more likely the lumps are just getting better with time.

Hello, having had the treatment since four weeks now, I can confirm that the material finally starts to soften. And look more natural :o) C

Katie, I'm now three months post procedure. I'm not entirely happy with the shape. The right one isn't bad, reasonably natural looking but the left one is different, the Marcrolane never seemed to drop fully and is still perched a little too high on the breast.
I still have some lumps and bumps and though the Macrolane has softened up it doesn't have the springy texture and smooth movement of real breast tissue.
I do like the increase in size and fullness and it does look good in clothing and underwear but naked they just look a bit strange, not obviously fake but certainly a bit odd.
