Hi everyone, this is a strange question lol but one that i cannot seem to find the answer for. I have lost alot of strength in general over the last 18 months since i began my NBE and went through my change, now its got to a stage where i feel i have no muscle lol i know i do but thats how it feels to me. I go gym and exercise but i always feel wobbly lol and the only muscles i can clench are my leg muscles, my upper body seems so weak . As a man i could tense my chest muscle and arms and shoulder muscles but now i feel i have nothing there. I use to be able to clench my chest muscle and make my boobs move up and down when they where about a C cup and in away this gave me some control over my boobs, but after about 9 months my chest muscles just vanished lol and i lost all control of my boobs. So my question is do men and women have the same muscles, i know mens muscles are in general bigger but are the muscles in different places or something as i really dont know where my muscles have gone lol silly question i know but i seem to think about this alot for some reason and id love an explanation or reason. Thanks everyone.

Hi Cheryl, I'll try to answer your question. The main factor in the difference of muscle mass in males and females is testosterone. If you google testosterone and muscle development, you will find many articles explaining it more in detail. Males produce more testosterone = muscle protein synthesis = greater muscle size and mass. Female bodybuilders so often take steroids which is simply more testosterone so they can achieve more muscle like men. This is also the reason that no matter how much females work out with heavy weights they cannot build the kind of muscle males can. I know lots of girls who wouldn't dare touch weights because they think it will make them look "bulky" but it is just not possible! Hope this helps.
HI. Men and women do have the same muscles. The changes to the hormone balance will make you loose strength. At least that is what i have found from research.
I have to agree. Your muscles left the same way your testosterone did. This is probably as a results of your surgery. Welcome to womanhood, lol. So it's normal, you're just starting to have the same hormonal makeup as a bio female.
as others said lol welcome to womanhood, this is where you act all defenseless and get some strong guy to do stuff for you Wink

But as far as clenching the chest muscles, I'm female and I can clench mine, you just have to work the chest muscles more probably. I have a good muscle build under my breast tissue, but again I use easy curves, I do push ups, etc. So it's not that they are gone, it's they are not strong and built anymore, if females stop working out they will lose muscle strength faster than males do, just an FYI.
i can also clench my chest muscle, but only when laying down,i canĀ“t do it if im in a vertical position, though i think it might b my lack of breast, cos i dont workout.
Thanks everone for your replys, i have to admit that my muscle loss and weakness is one of the down points for me regarding my change, its taking alot of getting use too and it makes me feel vunarable. It just seems very excessive and i never imagined how much it would effect me. Dont get me wrong i dont want to be a female hulk hogan or anything lol but i just never expected the difference in strength to effect me so much, its a very strange feeling to not be able to tense my muscles in my upper body lol, i can tense my bicep for a breif second and you can see it move but then it just goes lol and its flat and long now, instead of being bulgy, but on the plus side my leg muscles actually seem stronger lol. Thanks everyone.
