So I've been taking bovine ovary (bountiful breast) for close to 1 month, 2 and 1/2 weeks. I started immediately after my period, the next day. At this time I also stopped taking the birth control pill, my boyfriend moved so no need really lol, I also figured it might be a positive in the realms of boobie-growing.

But there is a problem, I haven't gotten my period since. I just counted, this is exactly 42 days.

Now despite my research I have never figured out much about how a woman's cycle works, mine has always been light and on time. I am curious how going off the pill could do this, or do you think they're unrelated? Is it the BO?

My first trials with BO I remained on the pill and never had this problem. I don't know what is going on with my body and I don't know what I should do. You are all so helpful here, I wonder if you can lend me any of your thoughts and ideas.

Just to note, the full list of supplements I am taking include:
-BB (twice a day)
-Multivitamin
-Biotin
-3/6/9 oil
-Evening primrose oil
-Kelp/L-tyrosine (occasionally)
-Maca (once a day only now)

Now that I think of it, I've only added the Maca for close to 2 weeks, could it be "resetting" my cycle? Huh

This sucks, I wonder if I should just stop and take time to cleanse and try again, its a shame to have another month go to waste though, I'm resisting because the beginning is generally building up in itself, correct?

I want to make this work for me! Sad
When exactly did you stopped you BC pills?, sometimes when you change brands, or just stop, your period kind of resets itself and might skip a month or two, and more if your period is really light, so it might just be that.
Cool
You played with a lot of different types of hormones it's hard to pinpoint exactly what is causing this. Stopping BC can definitely cause irregularities, I know when I was on BC and then stopped (can't remember if it was mid cycle or not) I started spotting but no period. BC shuts off your anterior pituitary and prevents it from releasing FSH and LH which are hormones that basically regulate your cycle, your body might have to get used to not having this. However BB and maca are both indirect sources of hormones, so I think it is a combination of them that is causing such a delayed period. If you want to restart then yes definitely do a cleanse, but remember to introduce new products slowly, don't start all of them at once.
Thank you for both of your responses. Yeah, I guess I have of a lot of hormone shifting going on. And I was on the pill for close to two years. I ended it as soon as my last pack ran out, but unfortunately I don't know the date it was running on... Very close to the end of May.

When it comes to the maca I know it is supposed to actually balance the hormones, which is why I wouldn't expect it to delay a period. I was googling it and it actually usually will make a cycle end quicker. I put it in my rountine a. for this reason and b. my low temperature, which it helped with almost immediately.

I still haven't decided if I will continue or stop. And while I like the idea of a cleanse, and I know there are a lot of posts here about them, the thought really intimidates me! Is taking a pill (such as milk thistle) really enough?
