Hi, im 14 yrs old and im only a 36A, i know im young and still growing but my friends are a lot bigger than me like Bs and Cs and theyve only had the period for a yr maybe two and ive had mine since i was 10, i was wondering if this is normal
Hey sweetheart, that's perfectly normal, at your age I was completely flat chested and started my period at 13. We all grow at our own pace. Just because you've had your period longer doesn't necessarily mean you will grow bigger sooner. You might be a late bloomer in the curve department Wink and that isn't a bad thing, the sooner you grow boobies the sooner they can start to sag. I knew someone who was a DD by the time she was 13, not even kidding! And by the time she was 20 they were hanging like a 50+ year olds (no offense to the mature ladies on the forum). So my point here is don't stress over it too much. I know it's hard, 14 is a very hard age. Everyone is judging you, you are wanting to date that certain boy in school but he seems to be only interested in the girl with a bigger chest or that has more popularity. But trust me, that sought after boy will turn out to be a loser as an adult, and the "nerds" end up being the sought after guys once older, crazy huh? But it's true, it's kinda like the ugly duckling story. Most all ugly ducks turn into swans. When I was your age I was picked on for being too skinny, being flat chested, being this being that, not being this not being that. And ya know what? I've bumped into those kids that were popular and good looking, they are now fat, ugly, losers, working minimum wage jobs. I'm not as skinny as I use to be, but I am in pretty darn good shape for having a kid. I'm going on 23 btw. So if I could go back to 14, I would not concentrate and dwell so much on what others thought of me, I wouldn't have cared about boys, and I would have just enjoyed being a teenager and having fun with friends. The boys will grow up and they will get better once you're in your 20's. Just have fun being young hun, you'll look back and wish you had. hth.
Hi Sunkissed, its perfectly normal so please dont worry honey, my younger sister started her period at 11 and at 14 she was an A cup, she is now 16 and shes a 36E. She finished at school one summer holiday with hardly any boobs and within 8 weeks she grew to a C cup and went back school and everyone was like oh my god where did they come from lol and shes not stopped growing since so dont worry hun, like Anastasia said just enjoy yourself and dont worry about boys yet just have funBig Grin
Hugs Cheryl xxxx
A relative of mine in Canada was talking about being on her period when she was 11 (I was 13 with an A cup, and hadn't started mine at that point) she was totally flat at this point - she was only 11 remember - and last time I saw her she was about 17 and had huge boobs. I'd guess at least a C or D.
