I don't think there is an explanation.
No one really knows why since it's supposed to help with joints.
It's just known it helps some grow breast.
Maybe someone else with more knowledge will comment on this.

MSM stands for Methylsulfonylmethane; it is a form of sulfur that is found in our living tissues. MSM supports healthy connective tissues like tendons, ligaments, and muscle. Many amino acids, which are the building blocks of protein, have sulfur as a component. MSM is used for joint problems, such as arthritis. But because Sulfur is in the hair, skin, and nails people taking MSM will see benefits in these areas as well. The breast is also composed of connected tissue as well as adipose tissue (fat), lobules etc.
