Hi everyone,

Basically, I’m struggling with how to tell
if I should just wait longer to see results or if I should call it quits and try
a new routine. For background, I’m 27, 5’9” and 130 lbs. I have the Mirena IUD.
I’m a 28DD according to the Bra That Fits calculator. However, and I’m not really
sure how to explain this, due to my torso/sternum(?) anatomy, my breasts are quite
far apart. I don’t fill out tops or have any cleavage. So while I don’t have a
specific size goal in mind, I would like to not have to wear only a bikini in
order for it to look like I have breasts.

Below is a program I tried for about
five months before I gave up. I experienced no changes in measurements, nor any
sensations of feeling “full”/growing/etc. I don’t remember the brands except
for the pueraria mirifica.

- 2000mg shatavari 50% saponins extract

- 1000mg pueraria mirifica (Ainterol)

- 320 saw palmetto extract

- 400 mg vitex

Here is what I have been taking for
about a month now, which I know is still early, but I again have not noticed
any difference in measurements yet nor felt any growing sensations.

- Doctor’s Best MSM 1500mg twice a day

- Nature’s Way maca root 525mg three
times a day

- Nature's Way fenugreek seed 1220mg
three times a day

- Nature's Way blessed thistle 780mg
three times a day

- Herbal Hills freeze dried aloe 500mg
three times a day

I would just appreciate any advice, or
if you could share specific brands/dosages that have worked for you. I get
overwhelmed trying to learn the differences between details like what is a seed
or an extract or different parts of a leaf or blah blah. I just know it’s
pretty discouraging taking all these pills every day and not feeling or looking
any different when I know some people see results super fast.

Just remember that extracts are concentrated, so are typically 4 to 10 times stronger than the whole herb. These things may seem overwhelming, but herbalism is actually a lot simpler than it first appears.

Thank you! Yes that part I do understand, I meant more that it is hard for me to read through other people's programs when they just name an herb without specifying the dosage/format etc. Like if you are taking one thing as an extract, x mg may be enough, but if you're taking the whole seed or whatever, you need a lot more of that, so the information about extract dosage isn't really helpful in that case. Idk if that makes any sense haha but the learning curve is steep

I assume that you're not taking extracts at the moment, but perhaps the Maca is.

No, none are extracts. However I'm almost out of maca root and I found a 250mg extract (apparently equivalent to 2,500mg of the dried plant) so I am ordering that now. Would you recommend replacing any of the other herbs with extract versions? If so can you tell me what dosages I should be looking for? Thank you!

Well Maca was the one where you looked light in your dosage, so that's the one where you would benefit by taking an extract. I think you're getting enough of the fenugreek and the blessed thistle. You could possibly take a bit more of the blessed thistle, as it's often taken in similar does to fenugreek, but I don't think you need an extract of that.

Thank you, I will look into that! It's been hard for me to find more information about blessed thistle.
