Perhaps people aren't getting the results they hoped for. It's often like this with NBE. Someone suggests something and then everyone jumps on the bandwagon.

Well, that's what trying is for. And come on, hardly anyone gets resuls in a few weeks, why should you expect that people will on GR? Everyhing needs time. Personally I've just started short to a week ago and I'm in the folicular phase, so not much can be happening. I herd MomX7 fell ill if I'm not mistaking and Halome will have to stop NBE cause of scedule, if I remeber corerctly...

My breasts looked a lot bigger after 2 weeks of using GR, but most of it dissappeared with my periods, so it must have been just swelling. However, as Moon said it takes a little bit longer than just a few weeks to get results so I'm still hopefull

Alexia, if you got more swelling than usual I would think it is a positive sign of GR doing something, so don't get discouraged.
It really is unrealistic expecting to see results after two weeks, even if you did they wouldn't be true results anyway, just swelling.
One should give a herb at least 3 months time to see if it is working, earliest after two months.
Good luck everyone, I hope it works for all of you.

Moons right, I got a bit sick and stop everything, my stomach just could handle the herbs and being sick and than the kids started back to school and life got in the way. I was getting back on the herbs and than yesterday got that pill stuck in my throat and was scared to take any more the rest of the day. So here I sit this AM trying to talk my self into trying again. Aunt Flow is just leaving and I'm measuring 37 1/2in (started 36in, got up to 39in right before aunt flow last month, was 38 1/2 at the end of aunt flow) so all in all I lost 1in from coming off the herbs in 1 month. So if I can get back on the Goats Rue I'll update on how I'm doing.

hi everyone...
i was wondering if anyone could give any updates on using goat's rue? i'm considering giving it a try, but i wanted to see how others were doing, or if they were still taking it. i know momxseven got sick, and i was wondering if you stopped. and moon - have you gotten yours yet? i know it is soon to tell about these things, but i am taking natureday and adding additional fennugreek to that (greenbush). i have had some success with that, but am interested in adding goat's rue and trying it out. i don't want to get sick though, and i have a sensitive stomach! any suggestions? btw - i've lost 13 pounds since i started in march, and i am measuring an inch bigger than when i started. i'm trying to gain the weight back, but it's hard because i'm super busy and forget to eat. i guess that is considered growth though nonetheless? no one has noticed though - all they notice is my overall shrinking Sad but i suppose it is encouraging, no? a lot of people say it is hard to lose weight and maintain growth. i don't know how, but somehow i have. any updates would be appreciated! it's expensive stuff! i'm looking at motherlove. thanks all!

jessica

I took GR for a week and then I did a 2 weeks brake from NBE cause I was studing for an exam and was getting very little sleep and a lot of stress, so I figured doing NBE would be washing the expensive stuff down the drain. I stated up again yesterday, I'm, on WU + additional GR. Will tell how it goes.

good luck starting wu, moon! i have been considering trying it/switching, but if natureday has worked for me, i should maybe stay on it is my guess. i sort of stopped nbe because of the stress of my research. i didn't lose what i gained, but since starting my routine again, i have pains despite the fact i have a ton of stress. i know a lot of women don't share in this, but the herbs actually help me with anxiety. well...thanks for the update, and if anyone else has one, feel free to share. i think dogfreak tried it too? i think i'll just go ahead and buy it, try it and see. hey...i've wasted 50-something dollars on far more ridiculous things in my life. good luck everyone!

ND contains dong quai which is a very known herb for stress. WU contains ginseng, which is also used for that.

I seem to have got a little bigger with Goat's Rue.
Moon, whatever happened with you and Goat's Rue?
Also in the old threads I read that you were yet to get results. Is this still your case?

I tried Goats Rue and it really messed with my mind. I suspect it was its blood sugar lowering properties - I already tend towards hypoglycemia and I don't do too well on fenugreek either - but Goat's Rue was far worse. I'm using the Goat's Rue only as topical now and would never take it internally again - seriously - it made me have suicidal thoughts - very uncool.

Yikes, Mumma Bear, that's awful! I just ordered some, and I'm hoping for positive results. I should be getting them sometime next week, so I'll keep you all posted, if not here, then on my program page.

I am also interested to hear about how Goat's Rue has panned out for others as well.

Happy growing, everyone!
