Intresting
I picked up some today ( Bob's red mill brand). Had some on peanut butter sandwich, waiting to see any effects
Good article. I love chia seeds, I add them to almost everything I eat. Sandwiches, cereal, steamed vegetables, and mixed into nut butters to have with apple slices. They don't really have a flavor, so they go with just about anything. I'm cutting meat out of my life so it's nice to have the protein, as well as everything else. The one negative thing I have to say about them is make sure you check your teeth after eating them, they like to get stuck there.
I like the crunchiness......
Chia is great, but it's not as spectacular as they make it sound. All the comparisons are misleading except the comparison to flax. It is great for ALAs, better than flax seeds. It is an ok source of calcium. It is not an amazing source of other nutrients but it has some. A tablespoon a day is good to get all the ALAs you need and a little calcium.
thats about the amount i use. i do feel fuller though
