I tried to put a link to an amazon website into a post. The link took you to Amazon but not the right place, so I tried the hyperlink button and only got [undefined=undefined]. So I put the URL into the brackets or what??

You must be using Firefox, as when using that browser the BB codes aren't inserted correctly. It's a little glitch in Firefox. However, you can overcome this problem by entering the code yourself, as Cindy_W has indicated. Enter the code manually and it will work fine.
