I've seen white peony mentioned around here a few times, mainly in Lotus' threads if I recall correctly.

But has anyone here ever used it in their program? please share your experience, i'd love to know!

*in theory* White Peony may be great in combination with saw palmetto as someone else tried to ask in a previous thread. (SP prevents testosterone from turning into DHT and white peony helps testosterone convert to estrogen so it seems synergistic for NBE to me)

Here's that thread - white peony root and saw palmetto http://breastnexus.com/showthread.php?tid=21919

IMHO, maybe i oversimplified it but the combo may be great for people who have above average T levels, or may be taking something that can non-selectively elevate the sex hormones (maca and progesterone for example, if i am not mistaken)

very soon I will have to experiment with this for myself Smile

if you had a hard time finding it anywhere like I did, I saw that Amazon has a couple white peony products:
Life Extension capsules http://www.amazon.com/Life-Extension-Imm...B00GDLWZH6

White Peony Root Liquid Extract http://www.amazon.com/White-Peony-Root-E...B000OAXVK2

I don't really like extracts since they taste yucky but I put them here anyway.

also from my experience searching around: whenever you look for whole white peony root or bulk, make sure it's white peony ROOT, not white peony TEA.

Why? well White peony tea does not actually have any white peony in it!!!! it's just a style of plain old tea. it's very annoying little point of confusion but be on the look out before you order anything in case you're going to experiment with this one too.
In reading Lotus' stuff, I noticed that saw palmetto has some more effects than we may have bargained for:

Quote:Saw Palmetto - DHT inhibiting effect, acts on progesterone receptors (causing a reduction in estrogen levels)

So here are some more promising herbs:
Quote:Chinese Skullcap-Inhibits 5-alpha-reductase enzyme

Pygeum-Reduces the level of DHT, reduces prolacting levels, Inhibits 5-alpha reductase

Red Reishi-Significantly reduces levels of 5-alpha reductase (DHT)

I can't seem to find any pygeum without saw palmetto in it, so I may have to look at reishi!
