Hi so I started taking pm around 3 months ago, 1000mg daily for 3 weeks and 500mg daily for my pill-free week, I intend to take a full break next month as, from what I have rread, cycling isn't needed when on bcp but still need to take a break. Anyway I felt I was maybe becoming oestrogen dominant purely from the symptom list link on another thread and unfortunately do not have a spare couple of hundred for a hormone test, so I proceeded to buy some progesterone cream to try even it out and work out by experimenting to see if that was the case.

However I am quite confused as to when to use it as due to the bcp I don't naturally ovulate, should I used it in my pill free week? Or all three weeks except that one? Or some other way?

Sorry its so long, its my first ever post!

P.s. I'm also taking spearmint and have had very minimal growth thus far but not expecting to for a while yet

You can use PC during the last 7-21 days, so it might overlap with some pill days. Since you don't ovulate, like PM you might also use it all month.

I might have to re read this when I am not so tired, because I am thinking of doing the same routine--

what BC are you taking? because some fluctuate estrogen and progesterone and some have the same amount all month?

I think its best to cycle your PM.. too much estrogen can cause problems, and its better to cycle all nbe

Thanks for the replies! I shall try using PC as you suggested as I don't think my current routine is doing anything at all! I'm on loestrin 20 which is a combined pill and constant for the 21 days (though I often run packs together for convenience).
