This month my period came exactly when planned and while I experience significant mood problems when on my period (not beforehand) this time I felt fine. However, the second week in my cycle (two weeks before my period) I became extremely horny. 15-years schoolboy horny. And it lasted for two weeks. The only thing I could think about was sex and sex and sex. It was unbearable. It stopped when I got my period. Why am I so horny ? What hormones are involved ? Is it progesterone ? What can I do about it?
I wouldn't mind if I had a boyfriend but I am single and it is just to frustrating.

I am on my first half of my cycle now and not really horny. I am taking red clover and fennel at the moment (and I drink nettle tea) on the second half of my cycle I am going to take something progesterone promoting.

Haha yes it happens! I have read from quite a few other women here taking different supplements. I am normally very sexual person but at times of nbe can be unbearable but my only advice is accept it and deal with honestly I have sex everyday but also 'enjoy myself' its ok.

I wish I could have sex every day!! :-( I've been 15 year old boy horny ever since I was 15!!

haha yes I have to ask my ex boyfriends (I am still good friends with two of them) to have sex with me. They don't always want to so sometimes I will just get them drunk.
