Ok I'm new here and have been searching almost everywhere I can to get some more info. I have started my NBE program about a month ago and am currently taking PM 2000 mg/day along with calcium. I plan to start adding protein shakes in about a week. I was also debating taking BO but my natural body temp hovers between 97.4 when I wake up to as high as 97.7. Ive seen several places stating I need that to be around mid 98. Sad. I had my thyroid tested and my TH4 came out with a .84. I read online that this is a hyper-active thyroid. BTW I'm male, 5' 7" and have recently lost weight down to around 115-118 lbs. tried for years with different approaches to gain weight, including weight gainer whey proteins with working out with heavy weights and no cardio, fast food, cookies and cheesecake. Just about everything I can think of short of trying to eat a 5 lb tub of Crisco. Angry. Please don't kill me for that!! Big Grin Both nutritionists I have spoken to have told me, and granted this was a couple years ago, that I need to get between 3600-4000 calories per day to counteract my metabolism and gain weight safetly. Does anyone here have any ideas that may help in my endeavor? Especially regarding body temp and BO.
Hey what's up woffy,

Wow, 3 weeks and no repsonses. Dodgy

I'd skip trying BO, I don't think it has favorable results for NBE, (yes, I did try it), that's just my opinion though. Besides, with your low temps it makes no sense to even attempt a cycle or two.

Having a fast metabolism is an extra hurdle for NBE, meaning you're not making efficient use of PM. Think of looking into DIM,

DIM is Diindolylmethane-It is an anti carcinogen and also improves estrogen metabolism. Plant-derived 3,3′-Diindolylmethane Is a Strong Androgen Antagonist in Human Prostate Cancer Cells* DIM is remarkably similar in conformational geometry and surface charge distribution to an established synthetic AR antagonist, Taken with estrogen agonist, activities of DIM are seen as an hormone disrupter. DIM is the first example of a pure androgen receptor antagonist from plants.

5' 7" and @ 115-118 lbs, what about healthy fats, nuts, pears, yogurt (Greek, low sugar), etc.

Smile more info is available in the genetic male section.

Yeah I'm a bit surprised that I had gotten no responses until now. Dodgy Believe it or not, I got the Swanson BO (taking 4/day) and am almost out of my first bottle and surprisingly noticed a bit more change than I was just taking PM. My nipples and areola have gotten a little bigger and I'm starting to show some growth, also got the hard bud behind my left nipple and I think the right side is about to follow very soon. Definitely hurts to lay on my stomach in bed, so I guess that's a sign of growth getting underway. Also got a little leakage from the left side. And both nipples have been semi-hard almost all the time for the last month or so.

For DIM, would there be any additional supplements that I should take along with it? I read what you posted about DIM and will probably order a couple bottles soon as that may help i development. Do you recommend any specific brand from amazon? All I'm currently taking is PM X4/day, BO X4/day and Calcium tablets X1-3/day and using the PM cream X1-2/day. I've tried to stay religious with this program for the last about 2 months and especially the last 15 days with the BO. I tried the BB and basically just wasted my time and a bunch of money. I also have Natureday, but have paused that until I finish my current bottles of PM and BO, just cycling the stuff as I go.

As far as food is concerned, I'm on a see-food diet. I see it, I eat it. I try to stay relatively healthy, lots of cashews and peanuts, not too fond of almonds. I only drink whole milk (can't stand low fat), lots of cereal. Im working on cutting my soda intake to 1 can a day and have done pretty well with that. I will admit that I'm a bit of a cookie nut so that's something I gotta work on Big Grin. Never tried the Greek yogurt before so I can try that as well.

I thank you for replying and if you have any additional bits of info and some tips that may assist in growth, I welcome it.

Happy growing!!!

Something like this would work.

Wow, that's aggressive. I did a cycle or two of PM and BO, although I cycled both at the same time too, but I think it was PM M,W,F,Su and BO T,TH,Sa. My reasoning was to flood the receptors, which later I determined was completely ineffective.

Oh I know that one, (have you ever heard the saying "people eat with their eyes", lol?).

Cool, yeah cut the soda!,
ASPARTAME actually makes you crave more carbohydrates. I'm not gonna lecture here, and the arguments can go either way depending which side people stand on, the facts are out there though.

Consumption of artificial sweetener- and sugar-containing soda and risk of lymphoma and leukemia in men and women.

No problem, please play it safe. Smile

I looked at the product link you sent me, to make sure I understand this correctly, this is supposed to aide in the metabolism of estrogen which i would assume would will make the PM and BO more effective? In the product description it states "preservation of testosterone by blocking aromatase of converting testosterone into estrogen." Wouldn't that be counter productive as I should be wanting to convert my free T to E correct? I guess I need to re-read several of your posts regarding NBE.

Update the information I gave you for what I'm taking was incorrect. It's 2000mg PM/day and 1000mg BO/day and have been at this for almost 2 months. Almost out of my second bottle of BO and will be ordering a few more bottles tonight (just wish swanson vitamins had the buy one get one free for this again)

You got it right. Excess E isn't necessarily a good thing, actually it's detrimental. DIM balances that excess into favorable E metabolites, the bad kind gets re-absorbed causing havoc.

Ok so maybe a dumb question, you're stating that the bad E gets re absorbed and causes havoc, DIM negates the re entry of the bad E or remetabolises it for proper absorption for better breast growth, or does it just get rid of it similiar to excess waste? Am I understanding this correctly?

Yes, DIM would be one aid, proper diet and exercise are other positive steps in good E metabolism. I used to believe that a cascade of E was the best approach, not so anymore.

Excess E has the potential to become carcinogenic, 16a-OH and 4-OH.

Great question. Smile
Hello! I don't have all of the info for you, but I can comment on fast metabolism and low body temp. I'm 5'6 and around 103 pounds. I have had 5 kids and still don't gain weight easily. I think the BO will work for you, but very slowly. I'm taking it - not so much for NBE (though I need it LOL!) - but for the fact that I feel great while on it. What helped me with my body temp was L-Tyrosine. It is an amino acid. Normally, I would be freezing cold ALL of the time, including summer. Within 3 days of taking just one L-Tyrosine a day, I began to warm and rarely get cold, now. This is a tremendous blessing for me because I would actually ache from the winter cold, especially with little fat to insulate. I got mine from Amazon, but I'm sure you could pick it up locally, as well. Sorry I'm not of more help. Good luck to you!
