I've found this extremely useful website on bra measurement. It has allowed me to find my correct bra size, which is 28DD or 28E (swelling before my period), instead of the 32B I have always been wearing.

I have also learnt that the widest part of your breast should be lifted by the bra straps to be halfway between your shoulders and elbows.
Figleaves stock band sizes from 28, so I really think it is useful to have a look at that website. It offers international delivery outside of the UK.
