WELCOME! Lot's of great gals here! Hope you reach all of your goals! :-)
I'm actually going to hold off and DIY the bands I have already. When I grow, I'm hoping to look for sister sizes because for someone my size, it would actually be less costly. I think it's crazy to spend so much on bras and actually use some of my mom's because we are technically the same size, but I now know that we wear the wrong band. I figure I can save some money by figuring out how to take in the band size myself so I don't feel so awful when I am left with almost no cute bras in my size while shopping. Does anybody else have that problem?

I do, I understand! Finding bras that fit me is a nightmare... Mostly order a bunch of them online and send back most that don't fit... Oh well, what are you gonna do?

Does LaneBryant, Macys or JC Penney have it?

You'd be lucky to find a 32 band at those places. Smaller bands are usually sold online and specialty stores.

Altering the band can be helpful but it can be also be nightmare. Even though 36A and 32C are sister sizes a person 36A would have overall bigger measurements.
36A= 36 band 37 bust measurement
32C= 32 band 35 bust measurement.
This can distort the fit of the bra when altered especially the wire placement.

I'd suggest getting a bra as close to the size you need as possible.

I feel exactly the same!! When I go bra shopping the bras in my real size practically don't exist, and the nearest size I can fit in only has all the bling bling diva styles, or are so heavily padded my boobs can't fit. Due to the padding I ask for a cup size larger aaaaaand THERE'S NO SIZE. Ugh.

DIY bra band altering it is then Dodgy
Not to be a complete stalker but I was just in Pennsylvania this last week. I just got home today and I had no idea that's where you're from
Ah yeah! The wonderful world of western PA... I don't like it here very much.

I also have so many problems with finding a bra that isn't a push up (I just don't like the fact that people should concentrate that much on my breasts as strange as that is) I am small, but come on! I rather be the size I am and show that off instead of being pushed up to the size I want to be and get attention for that. In time I'll get the size I want. No need for me to play fake. And all of the bras I've seen online have glow designs for raves and what not for my real bra size. I'm not wearing that crap ever! Or I get bra and panty sets that don't match or look really uncomfortable. I'm seriously looking into making my own clothes, except material and elastics and the such are expensive. I can't win! Honestly, I just want bigger breasts to have the feminine curves, yes, but to also have cute bras that I can just find easier.

You should really check out amazon. Most of the bras I wear I got from there
I think I will check out Amazon. At least, when I'm at school again. Thanks!
