I first started taking BO in August ( raw ovarian glandular from swanson's) and took it continuously until late November with no results. Throughout that time I took a pretty low dosage (only 500 to 750 mgs per day) for a majority of the time and occasionally had protein shakes but no often. I took a break from any pills and a month and a half ago started bo again . I have been taking 1000 mgs per day but still No results. I know I need to be patient but it's been sub a long time. Should I give up on BO? I have been taking l tyrosine . Still not really good about protein but I drink two raw eggs per day and lovee peanutbutter so I don't think that's the issue. Any thoughts?
I'm not a BO expert, but an egg is only 6g of protein, so 2 eggs is only 12g.. the recommended daily allowance (RDA) is something like 40g, so I'm guessing if you're supposed to be taking extra protein for BO, you should be taking AT LEAST 50g, if not more? I'm on a high-protein diet, and I do 80-120g per day (I'm 95 lbs).

I'd advise to keep taking IF your body temp is right and IF you can take the requisite amount of protein on a regular basis for at least a few months.

I agree, 2 eggs is not nearly enough protein. I start my day with 3 eggs and go from there. I have been shooting for 2 protein shakes / day which is 50g total. Then I eat some protein at every meal. Also, I think your dosage was too low. I started on 1000mg / day and have gotten slight results (you can see pictures on my program page). Results with BO are supposed to be slow, so now that you are up to 1000 give it a few months to see how you react. Then maybe up it to 1500 if you're not seeing results. Best of luck!

thanks Christinaaah I am around your weight (maybe 10 pounds heavier) so I will try to consume as much as you do. How do incorporate so much protein into your diet? Also the ideal body temp is 98.2 and i am around that and have been taking l-tyrosine because I have heard it helps regulate temp

Wishin--I was unsure of the dosage because people have warned me not to take to much. I am only 18 so i don't want to mess anything up. I will continue my dosage off 1000 mg. I checked out your pics they look great! Hopefully i will be able to achieve some growth too\

Also this is a question for anyone none of my hormones are too messed up but i was wondering it there is any reason BO wouldn't work for me? As long as I consume enough protein and my temp is right?
A typical day for me looks like this:
Right when I wake up: Protein shake (25g)
Breakfast: Greek yogurt (I recommend Fage, it's so good! But Chobani is also high in protein) (12g), 2 eggs (12g), some fruit (total 25g)
Lunch #1: Salmon spring rolls, or tuna salad wrap, or turkey breast wrap (15g)
Lunch #2: Same as Lunch #1 (I split my lunch into two sections) (15g)
Dinner: Beef/chicken/fish salad, or chicken pasta (15g)
After gym or golf: Protein shake (25g)

Some other good sources of protein are mozzarella cheese, nuts (almonds are good), dark leafy greens.

I just recently started adding simple carbs back into my diet because I want to gain in my butt and protein alone was just causing me to convert fat to muscle (lose inches).

Hope that helps! I think you should get your temp and your protein intake in line and then re-evaluate after a few months. I'm similar to you, no hormone inbalances as far as I can tell, though it's always been hard for me to grow/gain weight. I start BO nx wk after months on PM and a MT cleanse.. I'm crossing my fingers!
