I'm feeling a little discouraged but I haven't been going that long so I'm going to keep at it. I mean, I know for a fact they're firmer and fuller!

Ok some of us have talked about the measuring thing a fair bit. I look and see more fullness and shape but I try to measure it and if I move that sodding tape a fraction of an inch it can be less than what It was when I started so I firmly believe unless you have some moles freckles etc on each side you can use as a guide I don't see how one can perfectly position the tape each and everytime in the same spot and get an accurate reading so sod you measuring tape! I've over a few months gotten heavier up top which shows in my bras (cant measure that!). My smaller breast has gotten wider (still cant measure that)... See where Im going Smile - I'm hoping this is encouraging! I've nearly chucked in the towel several times over the past few months but I keep on going Smile Ps I never noticed what you said you've noticed in such a short space of time too!

Next thing we've just discovered pulling in the sides of your breasts under your arms into the cups of the bras. Even if you don't have much fat (I certainly don't) it really makes a big difference. For me to the point of boobs looking stupidly too big for my A cup bras. Supposedly this trains any stray fat migrating from the breasts to under your arms to go "back" into the right place. A lovely lady just today said professional bra fitters measure this way as most people wear the wrong sized bras and the fat migrates to the sides so you gotta get it back in there. I know for a fact I've always worn a bra too small as I just "assumed" im too small for anything other than a A. And they have always been tight and band way to small.

So don't despair, I've noticed from day one after pulling the fat under my arms and into the cup the diff in cleavage is WOW, all I can say and after taking them off it seems like that extra fat stays there for a few hours, imagine doing this every day over time. Lovely lady today said you can go up 1-2 cup sizes alone just doing this.

Is there a smile on your face yet???? (I cant see through the computer but I hope so Wink....)
Quote:Didn't fit! Still had gapping up top in my cups and the strap was still riding up.
The fact that the strap is riding up is not because your breasts are small! It's because the band is too big for your ribcage. Even if your breasts were gigantic, you would still have the same problem, so don't feel bad. The cups gapping might have been because the cups were too small, but it might also have been because the band doesn't fit you correctly or because the bra style was not right for your shape.

In my opinion, the measurements are probably the last to change. If your breasts are filling out and firming up, the measurement probably won't change, but that doesn't mean you're not making progress! As many members on here have said, the best way to measure is with a bra (that you don't wear regularly) or with pictures. Also, do you measure standing up? Try leaning over so you're parallel with the floor and measure that way. It'll catch more growth because all the fat and tissue with be pulled to the front.

Don't get discouraged! Have faith that you have seen real changes and that more will continue to follow. Stick with it! Good luck!
Newmomma, you are curvy! You have a very small waist and sexy hips.

I don't even measure anymore. First few months I went from 30.5 to 33" and it was amazing! Then, as I was obviously continuing to grow going by the photos, my measurements went back down to the 32" territory. They stay there now. What I have noticed is my whole breast has lifted though. I am not sure if this is why my measurements have dropped.
Hi Newmomma Smile

You have a nice support group of ladies supporting you here! And I'd have to agree with prettylilly as my experience is a lot like hers. I seem to FEEL the changes before the measuring tape shows anything.... usually the measuring tape is the last thing to show! So don't get wrapped up or worried about your measurements, as they are overrated and everyone seems to have different experiences with it anyway.

And yeah, the bra sounds like the band width was definitely too big, so maybe you should order a bra online that is a 30A... or, honestly, given your underbust measurement, I would say that you are at least a 28, and with a 28 from your photos I don't think you'd be a 28A, but more like a 28B would be my guess. But don't quote me on that! Once you find something that fits, it makes a world of a difference and you will feel so much better Smile I am sure you know how important it is to find something that fits, so it might be worth investing some time trying on these bra sizes that are difficult to find in stores.

But yeah hun, just as everyone else said, do not think you are not curvy because you certainly are! Petite and curvy, and a nice flat tummy to boot Wink Love yourself as you are, and think of NBE as a simple hobby just to embellish, and you will be so happy Smile We all get those days where we feel like crap, so it is important in those moments to remember that it is all just in our heads. And it really is.
Thank you for all the support everbody! I had a moment of discouragement and felt very down about myself and my body.

I haven't been on here in a good while because more or less, I just gave up on myself. I'll admit it, my self esteem sucks (Hence the rant) but I am just not sure how to work on that obviously having flaws that I can't get over. Knowing that the only way I'll feel good about myself is if those things change.

I don't want to be underweight anymore.

I want at least to have my prepregnancy breasts back.

I don't want these ugly stretch marks anymore.

Positive notes since I've been away:

I learned that this IUD could be the reason I am unable to put weight back on and I have an appointment on Monday to see about switching to the pill. I have heard some women on the pill notice an increase in breast size also....so crossing my fingers this will help.

2nd, I have been doing a regimen for treating my stretch marks. I rub them with palmers tummy butter and then put Vick's over that. I read somewhere that Vick's helps tremendously. So far I have not missed a day of this routine and actually, it seems to be showing some results....especially in lightening them. The one above my belly button has even disappeared! Granted, it was a small one already pretty light in color but it's something at least. If any of you have had stretch mark removal success, please share!

As for the breast region, not noticing much of a difference...which again, is discouraging. I have lost the heat because it started making me rashy. I'm still every now and then applying the Vicks at night. The tummy butter I use for my stretch marks, I have also been using during massage because it has almond oil, collagen, elastin, lavender oil, and safflower seed oil in it!

Maybe I should takes some updated pics and compare?

Oh yeah, and about the bra situation.....still at a loss. I found one that fit a little better but I still have a good amount of space in the tops of the cups. I know the band size I'm wearing is wrong (32) but I don't want to order an expensive ass bra online and have it not fit or not like it. I can't even feel it or see the padding and what not! Irritating to say the least. I am wondering if maybe it's just my lack of fullness up top? In that case, maybe I should try out a balconett bra since it pushes up from under my bust? My self esteem takes a huge dip knowing everytime I step foot in a store to go bra shopping, they don't even sell my size because it's too small.

Glad you back Smile this a journey of patience and persivearance . The journeyis slow but sure . Just keep your eyes on final goal . Just get inspiration of others who have achieved fantastic results Smile wishing you luck.
I'm glad you're having luck with your stretch marks! As for the bra, if you don't want to buy smaller bands, you can either alter them yourself via sewing or there are these clip things that shorten the bands. I'll see if I can find some links for you.
Here's a link to the Rixie Clip: http://www.etsy.com/listing/108413487/ri...e_active_2

You'll probably get better results if you alter the bra itself (warning: long and image heavy): http://imgur.com/a/qANZO

That tutorial seems like the best, but there are other easier and shorter ones if you want to google.
Thanks so much!
