Does anyone have any idea what to do when the XL domes bend in? I have used larges and they didn't bend in. Afterwards I used narrow XL for a short time and they did bend in at first, but just a little bit. NOW I am using wide XL domes and they are huge so they bend in and not just a little bit. That worries me, I don't know how to prevent it, with less pressure they bent less, with more pressure a lot, but they always bentSad And I do need to use higher pressure.

What can I do?
The plastic is too cheap and too thin for the pressure.... all that bending will reduce their life and the plastic will eventually crack and fail... you could glue external wooden or plastic ribs to the outside to strengthen them up but that's a lot of work.....
Thanks for your advice. I bought some super glue, but I still need the ribs, don't have a clear idea what I could use. I will have to try that, because they get a strange form because of the bending, they are narrow, instead of round. They would not break, domes remain undamaged, but they give me a strange form.

I noticed that the clear domes are more solid, they don't bend in like that. I had both the clear ones and the semi-transparent ones and the clear ones are better. Which one is actually a newer version? I ordered Wide XL directly from the brava distributor short time ago and they are semi-transparent, but I cannot imagine that they made it worse in the latest version.
I think the narrow size is more suited for your body type... but if you are sure that is a better size for you, I think you will just have to keep making an effort to flare them out. One of mine does this sometimes and I think it is because that breast is slightly smaller. On the other hand it could be a placement issue. I just keep monkeying with it and try to carefully reflare it out whenever I notice: I use one arm to press both cups firmly down and reach over with the other and try to slowly flare out the dome.

I have the clear ones and I just got them about 3 weeks ago so maybe those are newer. I read that the problem with curling in and high pressure leads to the domes breaking down on the inside. If this happens can I fill them up with something??? I don't want to buy a new pair. I tried to DIY domes on a pair of noogleberry cups but haven't gotten it right yet. Hoping the plastic around the brava ones will remain intact and I can just fill them up as the dome degrades.....
Just to clarify, my domes are clear but the cups are translucent. Sorry about that.
I tried to glue a metal part, but it didn't work, it didn't stay on. The reason is not the glue, but the metal, it doesn't have an appropriate surface, I didn't find something good yet.

But I thought maybe of something else: what would happen if I try to support the walls with silicon?? will it crack or help me make the walls thicker?
I got an idea what to try for support - an open bangle that I straighten up a bit! I will look for one (actually I need several, for 4 sides) next week and try, first gluing it and if that doesn't work I'll try to cement it with silicone..They are easy to find in jewelry shops, first I was thinking about DIY shops, but none of them is near my place and cheap jewelry you can find anywhere.

I really need a solution for the bending-problem, I actually find wide XL more comfortable than narrow XL, but because of the bending I use NXL again and I am already filling NXL even with 12h sessions. I am ready for WXL, but at the moment they get narrower than NXL..Angry
You can't typically glue metal to plastic... if you could find some plastic pieces..... and use an epoxy called LB Weld.... it sticks to anything and is the best I've found.... silicone is too flexible.. imho
Thanks karren for your advice! There is a european equivalent to LB Weld, I used that. Gluing an open bangle or using silicon actually works! That's the good news! It is hard to make the bangle adhere completely to the dome, so using a lots of glue or silicon does that part. So, finally I have WXL domes that keep the shape!
