Hello, forum users... (obviously my first post haha)

I started using NB about two weeks ago, and now i gave weird shadings along the areas that the skin touched the rims of the cups. They look like hickey marks, and i'm a little nervous that they won't go away. I know now that i've been overpumping... Breasts turned purple and felt painful. >_< Are these what indentations are? Does anyone know how long they will last? I'm not pumping until they are gone, and then i will pump very lightly.
It's normal. Massage them with lotion or oil. They should go away in a few hours to a few days, depending on how badly you overdid it ;p

Using oil or lotion before putting the cups on seems to keep them from happening as well.
Are you lubing up? ALWAYS make sure you are incredibly oiled or buttered up before attaching the domes to you! And don't pump for too long. I pump for 5-10 minutes at a time then stop, massage, give it a little break then do it again. I will repeat this as often as I can.

I think your breast turned purple due to too much pressure applied. By oiling up your boobies it would ease down the hurt/color but give your breast tissues some time to get used to the pumping (suction) process. When I first started I had the same feeling (still the same when cold breasts in the morning) now after 5 minutes, it just swells nicely.

I agree with V... too much pressure... I've bruised and blistered my breasts by using too much pressure.... bruises go away fairly quickly.... blisters take for ever and leave nasty scars.....
