Take a hormone test before messing with herbs so you know which ones YOUR body needs. This was my biggest beef with the book, it was a one-size-fits-all program with no regards to what your pre-existing hormone levels are.
Yes hormone test can be good but you can't use them on birth control and they are expensive I have never used one and I was successful with nbe as long as you start simple and at low doses you should be OK taking breaks is also good.
One thing I don't like about the book I posted it the bra size calculators in the old method adding 4-5inches will give most women a loose band size either only adding 2-3 or no inches gives most people a much more accurate fitting bra.
I do like the part about making topical that's useful but unless you have a lab adding wild yam won't make progesterone cream and isnt much use.
See these ebooks have mistakes I wouldn't want to pay for that when you can ask and search correct information yourself.

oh really... i was thinking to just start taking the herbs without taking hormone test... it could be expensive and i have no budget for that... the herbs already cost a lot... do you think it's okay for me to start with flax seed oil, fenugreek, saw palmetto and milk thistle??
